Dr. Ballif was a 5*. I had LASIK and PRK at the Ogden Facility. Dr. Ballif was great; he was professional, kind and listened attentively to my questions. The surgery went well and I went for two check-ups and Dr. Ballif was very attentive and didnt rush me with my questions, he was great. Im giving this a 4* because some of the support staff didnt exemplify receiving a 5*. They were kind and attentive; however, the I did feel a bit rushed from the support staff. A couple of days prior to my surgery I was informed that I potentially wouldnt be a candidate due to a prior eye injury. They told me they would get back with me on a specified date. I never received a phone call. I had to reach out to them. The day of the surgery I was supposed to have received a phone call and didnt receive one within the stated time frame. Overall, my main concern is based off of the level of attention the Dr. gives, and that was great and he made me feel comfortable.

I had my eye surgery done here, they were fantastic. Then we had my sons lasik here, then a daughter, then another daughter. In all cases the procedure was very smooth. One of my daughters was very nervous and they really worked with her to calm her down. They are very well organized and everyone does a good job of explaining what is happening. My husband had some eye problems (Not LASIK related) They did a fantastic job of taking care of him. He required surgery. He had pressure in his eye following the surgery and the doctor was willing to meet him on Saturday to give him the medical care he needed. And, at Christmas time, they offer you a discount on your surgery if you bring in a toy to help children who need presents for Christmas. Nice to be able to "give to charity" and receive a discount.

I recently had Lasik done at Utah Eye Centers and could not be more pleased. Everyone there did a superb job and I felt right at home with both the pre-op exams and the surgery. I had Lasik 2 weeks ago and both my near and far vision are excellent. Before coming to Utah Eye Center in Ogden I went o the "leading" Lasik surgery center in Salt Lake and it was a horrible experience. I felt like a commodity and at the end was told I would not be happy with the results from Lasik and tried to talk me into a procedure that would cost twice as much. I left disappointed that I would never get Lasik but luckily my Optometrist recommended I get a second opinion from Utah Eye Centers. That is what I did and found I was indeed a good candidate and my results are fantastic! Take my word. Dont go anywhere else.

Dr. Ballif and staff have been fantastic. The staff are kind and prompt. They recognize patients time is valuable too and get you in and out on regular appointments. I have had lasik, lasik touch up over the last 15 years and the new Kamra procedure completed recently. The lasik is wonderful. The heal and recovery time for the kamra is over time and I am just in the beginning of the recovery. I am a difficult patient due to light sensitivity but Dr. Ballif and staff are very patient and accommodating. I would highly recommend the eye center to others. I am not fond of any kind of surgery but the lasik is so nice to see like in my younger years.

Careless about the patients. I chose this place solely based off of Google reviews so my opinion must be heard. Ive been in several different occasions for what shouldve been 1-2 visits. The doctor was unable to give me a correct prescription for contact lenses without using my prior prescription from an eye doctor outside of this facility. The contact lens specialist Steve, gave me a trial pair of lenses that expired 3 years prior! Steve was also very rude and handled my situation very unprofessionally. Since I have to give one star, it goes out to the receptionist desk, the practitioner, and the eyeglasses department who were all wonderful.

Failure at EVERY step in the process. Had to go in multiple times in order to get the right perscription (they never actually got it perfect), was given the wrong contacts several times, they had technical glitches that prolonged my first visit, and they billed the completely wrong insurance causing me to foot a large part of the bill myself. Staff was not helpful, and didnt care to try to help resolve issues. STAY AWAY!

This place was amazing! The staff did a fabulous job making sure I was aware of everything I needed to know, having my prescriptions ready for me prior to LASIK, and answering ALL of my questions. They even called me a few hours after my procedure to make sure everything was going well. Ive already recommended several people to this facility. I felt safe and well cared for!

My LASIK went flawlessly! I would highly recommend these guys if you are considering LASIK. I was a little nervous going into it, but the staff there are knowledgable and very professional. Dr Ballif and Dr Sykes are great. Dr Ballif made sure I was comfortable and answered all my questions before the surgery. It is one of the best things I have ever done.

I got LASIK done here in 2013. I was coming from some distance, so got my pre-LASIK scans done the same day. I didnt feel like they rushed the process at all, but there also wasnt a wasted moment while I was there- they run a tight ship :) Anyway, the whole process went really well, including the healing, and I am happy I got it done here.

Worst service, Offend you when you mention Designer contact for Cosplay and comic con. I would need go here again and I have told my friends in the comic-con world that these doctor and eye center dont care about the comic book world and dont do Business with them since they want to call cosplay and comic con looks stupid!!!

Would highly recommend Dr Wilkens he takes very good care of his patients. His experience and expertise is is outstanding. Go see this guy!!!

Poor service and mistakes all around. The nurse had to repeatedly correct the doctor while getting my checkup. My written prescription was different than the sample contacts given. I didnt realize this until I had ordered my contacts. Now I am wearing contacts that dont work. I wish I had used someone else.

I have been there a couple of times now. The staff is rude and disrespectful. I waited an hour both times for my appointment. The optical staff sent the wrong prescription to Costco optical and when I called to get it straightened out, they were rude and abruptly hung up. Im looking to go elsewhere.

My experience at the eye center was great. Check in was easy, the doctor was prompt and professional, Paige in optical was very friendly and helped me with all the decisions there are when purchasing glasses. I was able to have my exam and purchase my glasses in a very timely manner.

It was amazing! I got LASIK yesterday and I can now see perfectly! Thank you so much Utah Eye Centers and especially Dr. Sykes for restoring my sight! I would definitely recommend Utah Eye Centers to everyone for everything from eye checkups to LASIK surgery.
