I hardly ever do a review unless it was a really good experience or a really bad one and this case I had a great experience. I dont live in Park City but I had an emergency with one of my dogs and it just so happened to be on a Sunday at 3:30ish and the office that I normally take my dogs to was of course closed and I couldnt get the on call doctor or any other doctor in the valley to call me back. The only other option I had was to take my dog to Salt Lake to the 24hr clinic which I was willing to do but when I was searching for a closer clinic than Salt Lake I came across Silver Creek Animal Clinic and it said that they were now open on Sundays and it was only 15 minutes from my house instead of an hour so I gave them a try. When the gal answered my call, I explained to her my situation she said that their schedule was full (which I assumed it would be) but she wanted to ask the doctor that was there if he thought the situation I was describing was really an emergency or if it could possibly wait until morning. When she got back on the line she said that the doctor felt that what I was describing could be fairly serious and that my dog needed to be seen as soon as possible. I told her that I appreciated her help and that I would try to find an emergency clinic closer to me. Instead of wishing me the best of luck and hanging up she again told me that they had a busy schedule but she told me to bring my dog to their office as soon as I could and they would work her in but I may have to wait a while. I told her that I didnt want to set back their schedule because it was in fact a Sunday and I being a new customer didnt expect them to make any exceptions for me but she insisted that I just come over and they would be happy to help my dog. After I got there and filled out the new patient paperwork, we waited probably 10 minutes at the very most before being called back to the room and having the doctor see my dog. The vet was Dr. Tyler Stein and he told me what he thought was going on and immediately took my girl back for an x-ray and blood work. Long story short this office and its staff are great!! They took us in as a new patient emergency with a full schedule and only one tech and made us feel welcome and took the time to make sure that we had a proper diagnosis and that we left with a treatment plan and clear instructions for at home treatment. I couldnt imagine a better experience in our situation. They didnt "squeeze" us in and rush us in and out quick like cattle and collect their money as I was expecting which was impressive enough but I even received a follow up call the next day (from the doctor himself instead of a receptionist that didnt know what was going on) which I was also not expecting was the icing on the cake. I have nothing but good things to say about this office and their staff and I really appreciate everything they went out of their way to do for us.

TERRIBLE. Uncaring of my 10 year old dog. Did a surgery to remove a cancer spot. Surgery was done well but the aftercare was non exsitant. Was wrapped in the wrong bandage multiple times with a charge every time we came back in. Was charged with a cone which was the wrong size and accused of not watching our dog well enough. As it must be a huge shock to the nurses that we actually have full time jobs and are lucky enough to keep an eye on her the hours we were allowed. Maybe if the correct bandage was on she wouldnt have chewed through as many times as she did. None the less watching her as much as humanly possible with our jobs, she chewed though a bandage and ripped out all 6 stiches and chewed off her dew claw. Was sent out every time with no antibiotics, not told to clean it, change it, or do anything to keep it on the right path to healing. Finally we had a co-worker tell us her vet tech daughter would help. She got us an santizing spray and healing antibiotic dog goop. Go figure a week of us wrapping/cleaning it ourselves our girl has healed her 6 inch incession and is doing much better. Not sure if they just like money and dragging us around the bush, or just the shear fact of not caring for old dogs? Who knows... I also called to speak with anyone there who wanted to listen and help me with my frustrations. Of course, no response. Thank you silver creek animal hospital but no thanks. Was a terrible experience and I will make sure to share my thoughts to anyone who asks about this clinic. Lorri

Simply the best Vet, ever! My husband and I have five dogs and with five dogs you obviously have to have an outstanding vet. We were originally told when we first moved to Park City by one of the other vets in town that Silver Creek was cheaper, I forget why but now its kinda funny to look back and think about how much business we have given to Silver Creek after a competitors recommendation! Anyway, whenever we need to make an emergency last minute appointment they are always able to squeeze us in. Everyone remembers us and recognizes us, well with 4 very distinctive Weimaraners and one lone Lagotto Romagnolo who wouldnt remember you? ;) Weve met all the vets, Dr. Artz is our primary and he is wonderful. Our last major vet visit was when one of our weims got bitten by a mystery spider. They were wonderful, I ended up taking her in every day as her condition worsened, they just let Annie hangout with them so they could observe her hives. I would recommend Silver Creek to anyone and everyone in town, we moved to Midway and I still plan on taking my herd back to Silver Creek whenever I need them! Thanks!

I cannot say enough good things about this vet office. My puppers was bit by another dog and had to get stitches and a drain put in on a Friday afternoon. The vet got us right in and even was super affordable about it. They also got us right in 3 days later to take the drain and again two weeks later to take the stitches out. During the injury we had a scare that my dog pulled out some of the stitches and they were wonderful about taking the dog directly back to check that out and comforted a crying me in the lobby. Im pretty sure I met all the vets and front desk staff during this time and every single person was AMAZING. Thank you Silver Creek Vet for taking care of our fur friends and being the best vet Ive ever worked with.

I do not usually take the time to write Google reviews, but this place has quite literally been a lifesaver for my two kittens. This is now my kittens regular vet, but wasnt originally. I desperately needed a second opinion when one of my kittens took a turn for the worse after three visits to a vet in Heber, who dismissed my concerns as normal kitten stuff and did nothing. More recently the other kitten has been showing signs of illness, which was again dismissed by the vet in Heber as nothing to worry about and again Silver Creek was willing to listen and work me in the same day. The staff is friendly and helpful, the vet is knowledgeable and very obviously cares about his patients, and I will never take my girls anywhere else.
