My fiancee and myself have used Fox Hollow for our 7 dogs and 3 cats for years. Dr. Brooke has always treated us with such kindness and compassion. Our experience with Fox Hollow yesterday solidified my adoration of Fox Hollow, and confirmed that until my dying day, or until Fox Hollow closes its doors forever, we will be completely and totally faithful patrons of their practice. 3 weeks ago we brought home an 8 week old healthy puppy from the Humane Society of Boulder Valley. We brought her in for her (completely free!) adoption exam at Fox Hollow, which mostly consisted of the staff loving on her adorableness, and welcoming her into their "family". Yesterday, after feeding our puppy, she began what we thought was either choking or convulsing. I immediately jumped in the car, blew several red lights, and made it to Fox Hollow within minutes. Even before I opened the door of the building, one of the techs had seen the look on my face through the glass and as soon as I made it to the counter, had the puppy out of my hands and was running to the back. From then on it was all hands on deck. Both Dr. Tony and Dr. Brian were attending to her, immediately preforming x-rays, and getting her on oxygen, several of the vet techs were attending to her as well. Dr. Brian brought us to the back (this is the only vet Ive ever been to that allows owners into the back, Fox Hollow has absolutely nothing to hide) and told us the gravity of the situation. He didnt feed us any lines of BS or try to sell us on any fancy unnecessary treatments. He told us straight out that she could die at any time, the dry food had expanded in her esophagus, crushing her lungs. He told us our options, and we decided to go ahead and do anything we could do to save her. Several hours passed, and despite having several appointments, they worked on her in rotation, taking more x-rays, and going above and beyond to try to do everything humanly possible to save our puppy. The other patrons, having heard what was going on, gave me hugs and words of encouragement. Finally, they made the decision that they had done all they could do and brought her out of anesthesia. (This was after they were technically closed, many of them stayed late for Bella) Dr. Brian once again told us that it would be touch and go and that there were no guarantees that she would make it through the night. He gave use detailed instructions for the night, and told us to bring her back the next day. (They always recheck our animals at no charge when theyre sick or injured) We went to the desk to find out what our charges were. We had been dreading this moment. We were willing to be late on our mortgage to save our baby. We were prepared for the worst. Emergency exam, two doctors, countless technicians, several x-rays, intravenous fluids, medications, antibiotics, anaesthesia, almost 5 hours of life saving work. 400 dollars. Any other vet that Ive ever been to would have demanded hundreds more if not thousands of dollars for the work that was performed. Or offered to put her down for the same price that Fox Hollow charged to save her. Dr. Tony, Dr. Brian, and the technicians that worked on Bella werent in it for the buck. They genuinely care about their patients. They were in it to save our babys life. This animal hospital is a shining example of what veterinary care should be. I am forever indebted to them. I cant possibly put into words the lengths of my gratefulness. But I can shout from the rooftops, that if youre looking for a vet who TRULY cares about your pet, that treats your animals like members of your own family. Look no further than Fox Hollow. Theyre amazing people, and wonderful at what they do.

Forever grateful to the compassionate, attentive and sensitive staff at Fox Hollow for saving my dogs life. Early this summer, Maggie was bitten by a rattlesnake in the Red Rocks area and Fox Hollow was the nearest animal hospital that I could find. We werent clients of theirs, but I called ahead to see if we could get emergency treatment. Without hesitating, they told me to bring her in. From the moment we arrived, they were prepped and ready for her. She was whisked away to start fluids almost immediately. Over the course of her recovery, I was consistently taken aback by the personal and openly empathetic care Maggie received. Dr. Ryan was wonderful to work with, devising a treatment strategy that I believe, very literally, saved Maggies life. Kortnee was with her from the onset, providing attentive, affectionate care until her discharge. Ill admit, at times I was the emotional, overzealous owner that all vets probably fear, but they were consistently gracious and accommodating. I credit them with calming me down, and helping me get through the weekend as much as they did Maggie.

How to put this delicately... This place is exceptional? Amazing? Fox Hollow, the family of veterinarians, and collaboration with the support staff of techs and other personnel is simply like none other that Ive experienced in the state. A stand out among so many other egotistical, over priced hospitals, respectful, compassionate, practical, approachable, available, intelligent and humane. I adore Fox Hollow. I have been through a myriad of complex health issues with several animals and have sought out what I genuinely believed was the highest level of care, only to be sorely disappointed, over charged, and more importantly, left with animals who endured conditions far longer than necessary. The compassion and commitment to the creatures they serve is above all the driving force at Fox Hollow, and their knowledge, understanding, education and competence is the best. They could very easily charge more, build a really expensive facility, and forget what their purpose is, but they dont. And I, along with my treasured and faithful companions, are eternally grateful.

Exceptionally pleased with Fox Hollow! Tony Henderson has been my vet since about 1997; I have lived all over Denver and will always drive the extra mile to make sure my pets get the best care available. I have had three different dogs in his care and one cat. Two of my dogs have been neutered by Dr. Henderson, and I have to say it is the fastest recovery time I have ever encountered. Tony takes pride in his work and only uses the best technology when caring for animals. I have never had one problem with him, in fact I have recommended him to many different people and they all say they wouldn’t go anywhere else after working with him. He is amazing with the animals and has an exetrmely nuturing, gentle, undesranding way about him. All my pets are drawn to him. They literally jump for joy when Tony enters the room. I feel lucky to have found such an amazing, caring veterinarian, and would highly recommend Dr. Henderson to anyone looking for pet care. After all, he came highly recommended to me and I am so thankful I have him as my vet!

We had the worst experience at this vet. Our puppy was getting sick, and we knew they were closing soon so we called ahead to make sure we could bring her in. Once we got there, the receptionist was super rude and wouldnt even look us in the eye. Before they even ask our names or our puppys name, they go "oh, is this the parvo case?" And then proceeded to tell us that she has this disease, she will need to be quarantined and must be brought to a different facility. The doctor wouldnt even come into the room, touch our puppy, and barely even spoke to us. The Veterinary Assistant that was with us was the only positive part of our experience. She was so sweet, and so helpful. She helped us find a different facility to bring our puppy and was with us every step of the way. We then arrive at the different facility, which we come to find out THE TEST WAS A FALSE POSITIVE AND OUR PUPPY IS FINE. We will NEVER come to this vet ever again, and have told our friends in the area with pets about our awful experience.
