I have been to this office four times and Dr. Dubril has been to our home once. We are the ones with the litter of puppies on their website. The home visit was expensive but very convenient and I appreciated it. Since then (about 18 months ago) I took in a litter of 4 week old puppies and after checking them, was told that one needed to see a cardio veterinary specialist immediately as she was in heart failure and could die at any moment. She also said all of my other puppies had heart issues. Finding that odd, she rechecked them and backed off on this diagnosis, but said I needed to take the one in immediately. I did not and just waited, as I had read online that young pups have a higher heart rate than 8 week old pups. At 7 1/2 weeks, my husband took the same litter back in, and all were fine with no heart issues. Hmmm, I had not done a thing but wait 3 1/2 weeks. Yesterday, I took a litter of pups in and Dr. Kuncher was great with them. I needed four flight certificates and told Dr. Kuncher I would need them and she said to just come back in. I was unaware she did not work today and would not be in the office for another week. Dr. Dubril said she would have to re-examine the same puppies that her office examined yesterday in order to sign the USDA Health Certificates. She said it was illegal and she would lose her license if she signed off on pups that her partner had checked. ??? I could not believe that I was stuck and could not get the certificates without paying for another office visit and checkup one day later. I ended up going to another vet, which I had to pay for, who told me that all vets in the same office will honor another vets check ups. The other vet charged me just $44 to check the pups and the health certificates and I would have paid over $125 for the same thing at Pinebrook. When I returned from the vet, a friend of mine called in tears. She needs her standard poodle put down and Pinebrook Veterinary Hospital told her they were too busy today. She said that the receptionist was very rude to her, which is consistent with the same rude behavior I experienced. Odd when I had called two hours earlier, they were wide open with appointments today, and when I went in to visit, no one else was there the 20 minutes we were there. It appears to me that: 1. this vet does not know the heart rate of puppies 2. their receptionist is rude to two people in the same day, who she does not know are friends 3. the vet that will not honor her partners exams and is not afraid to double charge a customer 4. An office that lies about their ability to perform that day. In addition, the prices of their services on line are not accurate. I paid more for a single office visit than what is posted on line, so they have raised their rates. I just cannot imagine anyone EVER taking their animal to this office. We are a small town, not SLC where she drives from and things are different in a small town. We take care of each other and work well together. No more business or referrals from me....

You know the feeling you get when you first meet someone and can tell that you are going to be good friends? Well, thats the feeling I had the first time I met Dr. Britt Dubil. I recently took my shy/nervous/fearful rescue dog to Pinebrook Animal Hospital for a dental cleaning. I was a mess before I walked in because I was worried about putting him through a stressful situation. (I took him to a groomer and he hid under our kitchen table for a month.) As I walked into the clinic, I was immediately greeted by the lead technician Lisen. She was very sweet and called my dog by his name, while taking the time to come down to his level and say Hi. Then I was greeted by Dr. Dubil. She could tell I was a nervous dog Mom and reassured me that my dog would be comfortable and receive gentle personalized care. She let me put him into a kennel in their treatment area. I noticed he could see everything and everyone while they went about their work. This gave me great comfort knowing that he wouldnt be left alone in some back room. I received a call when he was put under anesthesia and then another when he was waking up. When I picked him up, he didnt want to leave and tried to follow Dr. Dubil into her office with his tail wagging furiously behind him. Who was this dog?! His teeth were beautiful. The dental cleaning fee here is beyond exceptional and includes pre surgical blood work, anesthesia, I.V. fluids, the cleaning and dental x-rays. I took my 11year old cat in just last week for an emergency. Dr. Dubil provided an excellent work up on her. She is now comfortable and back to herself after following Dr. Dubils treatment plan. I highly recommend Dr. Dubil and Lisen to all of my friends with fur kids.

This is Baby Aden. Dr. Dubil has taken care of him ever since he was a kitten. She has had to fix both of his eyes and countless absesses caused by his need to dominate the neighbors cats. Dr. Dubil is very loving and patient with all of my cats. I love to watch her handle them because they are not afraid of her, they never bite her and even when I think she might need me to help hold them, she doesnt. Dr. Dubil talks to my cats and that helps me feel like she cares about them as much as I do. She also talks for them and often they say that giving them shots is just rude! Dr. Dubils clinic is comfortable and cozy! Her staff is always friendly and interested in the animals that come in for care. I have never had to wait long for a room but I have noticed that there is coffee and cider available if there was extra time. Pine brook Animal Hospital also participates in an onlinve pharmacy progrom so that you can have your pets medicine shipped right to your door. I live in Sandy and I think that the drive to Park City is well worth it, even with a cat in the car!

The space itself is beautiful- calm, warm colors and a wonderful non-clinical feel to it. When I walked in worried about my dog, I was pleasantly surprised at the ambiance. The woman who checked me in was so kind to me and my poor injured dog, it was great for a first time visit. After the initial check in stuff was over they took my dog back and had to do a little procedure on him. They kept me informed about everything that was happening and answered all of my questions and even offered me some coffee! When it was all over they were super nice to me and the pup, even offering to walk us to the car. I came back a week later with my dog to follow up and they remembered me and him, greeting us by name. That is such a nice touch and I appreciated it. My dog wasnt even worried about walking back in, even though most dogs refuse to go back to the vet once they know what awaits them. I guess the nice people and relaxing environment worked well on him too!
