I went to Dr Miakashi because he had great reviews. Well I am sad to say I did not share that experience with others. I went in for a physical, when I arrived the front desk acted like she was too busy to look up, the women who took my blood pressure was extremely rude. Like she was having a bad day and was taking it out on everyone else. Then the doctor asked me questions and ordered a blood test that was a follow up from the sister clinic, which I had to remind him. I felt like I was treated worse then cattle and rushed out the door. I was trying to be understandable due to they do deal with a lot of sick people. One week went by, I havent heard from the doctor at all with the results and when I call they un-experienced staff who had no clue what was going on read his note which obviously was a totally different conversation from what I remember. (Sounded like Doctor was lying to save his own behind). I had a bunch of questions the nurse could not answer so she said she would have the doctor call me. Well two weeks after still havent talked to the doctor. So I called and expressed my frustration and the girl who answered said sorry for your experience good luck on your search for a new doctor as if she did not care. (This was a totally different experience from their Kearns clinic). If you want to be treated like a human being go to the Kearns clinic not to the Taylorsville clinic.

If you desire to be involved with collections, definitely go here. I went there a few months ago and filled out the paperwork, and handed them my insurance card as usual when you go to the doctors office. I filled out my updated address as well in this paper work. My insurance nor I ever got billed for the visit apparently. Instead they took it to collections. When talking to collections, apparently they had an address from over 6 years ago in the system. Same phone number, but did they even try to contact me? Nope! Straight to collections. They failed to update my contact information, contact me when billing time came and they didnt receive a response, and they didnt even contact my insurance. Pretty class act of a place if you ask me. Very on top of things when it comes to taking people to collections, but to do their normal job functions, forget about it. Enjoy all of the joys of collections when it is unnecessary and they could have resolved it in a civil manner. Way to make me want to come back!!!!! If there was a 0 star option I would select it.

Dr Miakashi Tatsuzo was great however the front desk staff AWFUL. When we first checked in the girl barely made eye contact and NEVER smiled once. I was checking in my 84 year old mother and she was talking to me and acted as if my mother did not even exist. The actual visit was fine but then upon check out I exited the door to request a follow up appointment. I went to the first desk to the right of the exit and the girl was on the phone. She completely ignored me and I waited patiently and she never acknowledged me. I then asked her "Where do I check out?" And she kept ignoring me. I then said " Oh great I just get ignored!" If that wasnt bad enough, I caught her laughing and gossiping about my comment as I stood there waiting to be helped by someone else. I am super disappointed in the clerical staff. I was very excited to be taken care of by a new provider but I am disappointed greatly in the staff.

It way better than Jordan valley medical center west valley campus. I went there for a accident I wish I did not the the doctor kept asking me if I want drugs because we have drugs. I payed all of the medical bills that I was given and 6 months Later they sent me another bill and trying to take me to court if I dont pay I know have to go to the bank and get the information and cancel my plans for the day. I recomemend that you go to Taylorsville hospital Medical Center Ive been there 3 years ago best medical experience ever they have great doctor who care about you great customer service

I see Dr. Panko. She is a great provider however the clinic experience is so poor Im considering changing providers. The front desk staff are rude and act like patients are inconveniencing them. When calling to speak with MAs they are also rude and very quick to get defensive. I waited for over a week to have a Rx sent to my pharmacy and when I called to see why it hadnt happened the MA was rude and blamed me for the error.

None of the front staff make. You feel comfortable or welcome ever.. Most of the drs make you feel awkward or uncomfortable they dont seem to really care either there are very few there that do but i still go there cause its close to home
