If I could, I would give 10 star rating. Dr. Blackhurst and all of the staff are out of this world amazing, professional, personable, friendly, calming and everything else I have never experienced before in my past with other dentists. Going to several dentists growing up and in my adult life I have developed severe dental anxiety and panic at the simple thought of going. I was talking to a coworker about my need to go since its been 7 years but I cant bring myself to find a dentist, make an appointment and go. Pam told me about Dr. B and told me how he and his staff will take good care of me and how gentle they will be. It had to have been at least an hour of talking with her when I finally made the call. Pam stood right beside me and helped me commit to a day and time. She was right. EVERYONE was very thoughtful, sensitive and took the time to sincerely listen to what I said. I had to have some work done on my teeth which required several crowns. Since Dr. B has an office in SLC with the equipment to make the crowns, I was able to have the entire process taken care of from start to finish in the same visit. For those that have anxiety, panic, have sweaty palms and have dry mouth at the simple thought of going to the dentist, they have an anesthesiologist available that will give you the royal treatment. What a relief to finally have a dentist and staff to rave about. My teeth look fantastic as I keep looking in the mirror every now and again throughout the day. THANK YOU!

Great experience! I had the opportunity to work side by side with Brenda, the office manager, Krystal, and Dr. Blackhurst. I interned at this Highland office and enjoyed it very much. I found Brenda to be professional and caring with patients as well as the business. Brenda is very pleasant to work with. She helped me feel comfortable and helped me find my way around the office. It was a stressful day for me, as I was learning a lot of information all at once, and made mistakes. Brenda and Krystal were very patient with me, and I was impressed by how well Brenda handled a potentially stressful situation with grace and tact. She helped everyone feel at ease, and even offered to run errands for everyone, including lunch for me, and driving to their second office in SLC to pick up a piece for Dr. Blackhurst. She is very reliable, and set a positive example. I also found Dr. Blackhutrst to be very kind and patient, and Krystal was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend their office.

I went in with emergency tooth pain and had such a good experience I went back for more work. I had a lot of problems with my teeth and didnt smile much but now I smile with confidence! I have more work to do and will continue to use Dr. Blackhurst and his staff for my work. All the staff made me feel welcome and at ease. Dr. Blackhurst never started until he was sure I would be pain free. Brenda, their office manager, handled all the appointment setting, insurance, and even helped me right a wrong with another office where I had to have oral surgery. She was encouraging about the whole process and just plain fun to talk to while waiting to get back, which was never more then 10 mins! I would honestly and in good conscience recommend them to anyone! Thanks Dr. Blackhurst and team!

Very bad experience after my first visit (the last one as well)! I had a valid dental insurance, but somehow they filed the claim incorrectly so that the insurance company had never received the claim. Then they turned this to a collection company even without bothering to give me a call when I was on travel. When I communicated with the dental office, the lady in charge of this had a very bad attitude, no apology even though it was discovered what had happened. She even hang up my call couple of times leaving me to deal with the collection company alone. Will NEVER recommend this dental office unless you have extra time to deal with a collection company!

Excellent experience. My previous dentist retired and referred me to Dr. Blackhurst. I wasnt disappointed. Excellent visit in every respect. Lauren is the best hygienist of all time. UPDATE 4.6.2015. Another great visit. Dr. Blackhurst is an excellent dentist. When you schedule your appointment with Dr. Blackhurst, be sure to request Lauren as your hygienist. She is so careful when she cleans your teeth. I have quit dentists before solely because my gums got hacked up during the cleaning by a careless hygienist. But not so with Lauren. A+++

Both my husband and myself are on a year long sabbatical traveling the U.S. and needed to find a dental center that could accommodate new patients. Well, we found it with you! From the moment walking in the door to the final dental exam by Dr. Todd, your staff was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Thanks to your staff for such great service!

Steve Waite has never been a patient of Dr Blackhurst! He is a repair guy who was fired for doing a horrible job for the office. Brenda is very professional and kind! Steve Waites personal rating is really low for obvious reasons! Please disregard any comment from him, as he himself has never been a patient of this office. This is a sad attempt at disparaging the office, because his own services were extremely sub-par! The office is great, and Brenda is great.

Ok, so I was so nervous, and I wasnt the one having my teeth pulled! My 10 year old son needed 2 baby teeth pulled and everyone made him feel comfortable and like it was no big deal and he had them removed even without laughing gas! The shots hurt a little, but the teeth were out in no time! He went to his art class afterward feeling fine. Thank you so much Dr Blackhurst and Staff! You guys are the BEST!

a crack in my molar finally broke off, and Dr. Blackhurst was able to see me the next day and quickly made and installed a permanent crown in just over 2 hours before I left the country for 10 days. LIFESAVER! Excellent experience all the way around.

The staff were amazing !! Check in was fast and the hygienist Makayla was so gentle and efficient. Dr. Blackhurst and his team are the best. I will be back in 6months for my check up :) FYI Im from NYC & Im not easy to please
