I dont ever leave reviews online, but after working for Utah Endocrinology Associates I thought I should. I have never before witnessed such a degrading hierarchy of power in all my life. I understand that doctors and nurse practitioners strive vigorously to earn the prestigious title that they have, however, this does not give them free reign to treat their employees as lesser individuals. Dr. Falahati, for example, has on multiple occasions sent out private emails degrading and berating his employees for behaviors he wishes to rectify. One of these emails attacked a male coworker of mine for "chit-chatting" too much, "even more so than all of the woman." This email not only conveyed institutionalized sexism, as if woman "chit-chat" more often than men in the workplace, but also attacked this employees masculinity. Another email I received personally was entitled, "how dare you undermine my authority," after I had followed through with a patients request to be scheduled with Dr. Falahati in place of his nurse practitioner. The email was condescending in every sense of the word as he explained to me my place as a medical assistant in the world of medicine specifically asking me as the central topic, "who do you think you are?" I cant help but read the other negative reviews and offer insight to why the office staff is often behind and incompetent when returning phone calls, filling out prescriptions, and getting back lab results. It is because the office is constantly having to train new staff. Believe it or not, but the office has around a 3 month turn over rate of some of their positions. If there were a more enjoyable and respectful atmosphere then maybe the office could maintain their entire staff long enough for each employee to gain enough experience to work effectively and efficiently. However, the disrespect drives employees away, and the ones that stick around tend to learn how to best avoid Dr. Falahati and endure his tyranny. Edit: This review is by no means made out to attack my previous coworkers, whom always worked hard and always were kind. Those with experience having worked in the office do a great job. This review is intended for Dr. Falahati.

Bad costumer service from the beginning. Dr. Falahati looked like he cared but when I ask for some forms that I needed for the military, they were not completed on time. They just blamed the staff which is very unprofessional. They wanted me to do an appointment just to fill out the form because it took them a month to notice that it was not completed (yes I gave them that much time) and since the doctor didnt feel comfortable filling out the form, they wanted to charge me another $300 ( that is what a visit cost, of course most of it is pay by my insurance but that not the point). I asked to be transfer to another doctor, in this case they transfer me to Jaclyn, another bad experience, this one never saw the documents I send before and she could care less about my symptoms. My appointment was so quick, I felt like she just wanted to see my face, fill out the form that I needed previously and get my money. Then she told me to come back in 8 weeks that I was going to be fine. Also she said she was going to call me after she sees my blood work and she never did. Really bad service. I went to Peru to check myself previously and the doctor spent almost an hour with me, listening and taking notes and prescribing me medicine that made me feel better. You might think this country would have a better service for the money but you are wrong. I might try to transfer somewhere else after my second visit in 8 weeks but by then I would have probably seen another doctor because I feel like they just do not care.

Possibly the worst doctors office in the entire state. The level of incompetence of the staff is off the charts. I cannot even count the number of times I had left messages for the doctor and NONE of them were returned. When I went into the office they informed me that some of the staff had been deleting messages. What?!!!! We never got the email from Dr. About the first visit my husband had because apparently you had to have signed up for their online document service and if you hadnt done so before the email was sent you cannot retrieve it. So we never even saw the results for my husbands first visit. Then, My husband was put on an injection therapy and we had an appointment with the office to start this process and when we showed up we were informed that we were supposed to have picked up a prescription that they had called in for us two days before-- which would have been helpful to know!!! They didnt even tell us that we had a prescription let alone that we needed to pick it up. The utter lack of follow through that this office displays is not only infuriating but also extremely unprofessional. I should have believed the other reviews and just sought a different doctor. What a waste of time going here was. Im upset that they ever received any money from us and our insurance. Seriously the worst, dont go here. Ever.

The office staffs several doctors so this post is specifically in regards to David Gamble. While Ive had decent experiences with the office as a whole (Ive seen other posts about Lupe and he is just as great as stated; I hate having my blood drawn and Lupe manages to get the vein on the first try and with almost no pain), dealing with Dr. Gamble, and his staff, is exactly as his name implies: a gamble. In order to speak to anyone on Dr. Gambles staff, Ive had to call several times across mupltiple days and leave a handful of messages. And if youre calling expecting quick results, dont expect them. Even if you leave detailed instructions with a staff member, they take forever to get anything done and you should always check to make sure it has been done because they dont always get things completed. Ive had vitally important insurance paperwork take three months to be completed and returned. I sent them a drivers license form to be completed and sent in and it never was. Im switching to another doctor, one who actually returns calls and does their job, as soon as I can. If you never have to get in contact with your doctor outside of appointments, then Im sure Dr. Gamble would be fine for you. But if you ever need anything? Forget it.

I see a few positive reviews about this Dr. and I would bet they are mostly fake reviews. Who puts the names of office staff in their review of a Dr. office? I would doubt anyone who has experienced care from this Dr. would consider it remotely positive. I see they have only positive Yelp reviews. How much are they paying yelp to hide their negative ones? One star is too many. This Dr. has the Rudest, unprofessional and incompetent staff I have ever seen in a medical office. It is a literal joke. They made some pregnate lady start crying when I was there she said she had left messages for the Dr. multiple times for her medical records and that they never returned her messages. The office guy said it wasnt his fault because they fired the previous office staff who was deleting all of the messages for fun. They even tried to charge me for an office visit they falsely claimed I missed. Ive seen Dr. Falahati multiple times for less than a few mins and I never felt he even cares for his patients well being. I felt like he only cared about collecting my payment. Not happy with the care I received. It was by far the most lousy care Ive received from any provider.
