I had an appointment on Monday with the OB/GYN specialist. Ive had 4 miscarriages, and after taking 4 pregnancy tests that said positive and then negative, I was excited to see Dr. Stowers. Especially because a previous sexual encounter from years ago potentially gave me HPV and I didnt know until now. This team is incredibly underqualified to be working in a hospital setting. I arrive at 1PM for my 130PM appointment to fill out paperwork as needed when the dolt of a receptionist tells me his afternoon has been cancelled. She then decides to reschedule me for nearly a month later. I was extremely upset and let her know my situation. She sends me back to the medical assistant, who puts me down for a pap smear the following Monday and gives me lab paperwork and tells me she will call with my results the following day. The lab receptionists were great, helping me get out of there in a timely manner and let me know it would be 24 - 48 hours before I got a call about my results. Here we are, 48 hours later. After my boyfriend misses a call from the hospital, I call back about my results and yet again, this idiotic excuse for a receptionist is so extremely unhelpful I want to scream. "The doctor and his assistant are not here today, youll have to call again some other time." I said, "No, I already received a call that was missed about these results." She asks me for the phone number and I sit here, listening to this lady breathe for ten minutes before my phone dies. I DO NOT want this team to have my childs life in their hands. I have never met such unprofessional and unhelpful people, especially in a hospital. There are concerned women and mothers expecting to receive care and instead they are forgotten about, brushed off, and their concerns are viewed as invalid. I am switching doctors. F*** this place.

Was referred to Dr. Jaffe by Dr Moores because of continual back pain that had recently reached epic proportions. I cant think of anything else but my pain, and I can only find a comfortable position lying down. Jaffe reviewed a 2 year old MRI and explained in detail how arthritis and bone shifts were causing my pain, and those conditions likely worsened over the past two years. He recommended a new MRI and invasive surgery. Nicelong term strategies, however, when asked for a short term strategy to manage my pain with medication he refused. He said my biggest problem was being overweight and to focus on that. When I reminded him my pain level was a 10 and I couldnt excersice to lose weight he said become a vegan. Okay, another nice long term strategy but nothing to address the level 10 pain Im in. Good Dr how much weight must I lose before the arthritis disappears and the bones return to their original position? Im waiting Dr. In fact, how much weight must I lose and how many vegan meals I must eat before the invasive surgury to fuse my spine is unnecessary? Basically, Dr. Jaffe he said go get an MRI fatso, and shut the f*** up about your pain. So I called my primary care phycician; Dr Moores explained the situation to here assistant, who was argumentative from the outset indicating no medication would be given without an office visit with the next available visit being weeks away. I pleaded for somthing to be phoned into my pharmacy and was promised a call back on Friday which never came...so more pain to endure over the weekend. Write it down folks Dr Jaffe and Dr. Moores are absolutely horrible doctors, without any compasion. The hypocratic oath? Haha, theyre in it for the money and nothing else. They wont be getting any more of mine.

I am beyond frustrated with this clinic, more specifically the Ob/Gyn clinic. I have been rescheduled 3 times now just for an annual exam. When I asked if I could see another provider they told me no that I would have to stay with my provider. I get my physician has to be in surgery some days. But EVERY SINGLE APPOINTMENT that I have scheduled, because they have asked me to reschedule, they call me days later saying that my provider once again is being called out to surgery and they will need to reschedule me, again.. that makes it 4 times now. I do like the physician and the medical assistant but something has to change in regards to their lack of organization and scheduling of appointments.

Wonderful! ALL of my doctors work there now! It gives me a great excuse to drive up through the avenues every week - it is so beautiful. The receptionists are friendly. I rarely have to wait longer than 5-8 minutes. Usually its just "go on in"! I chose my doctors because they are the best in their fields, and this is where they all eventually decided to work. So, for this reason I believe that many very good doctors are now working at the Avenues Specialty Clinic.
