Dr. Bruce, Thank you!! I dont even know what to say. The vast majority of the Vets in the Rutland area have little concern if you have an emergency with your pet. They turn you away or have you call a referral service that charges you to talk on the phone. Umm..errr kind of takes away from the fact that you have an emergency situation on your hands. You dont hesitate. I have a little Corgi that was bitten by spider (we think) and with one call we were in your office in less than 15 minutes. By the time we got to you his whole head was ballooning up. He didnt even look like my dog! As you can imagine, respiratory distress was my concern. Doc and an assistant were actually waiting for us (wish I could remember the assistants name, as he was awesome too). They immediately brought my little friend in and within minutes had the situation under control. I left knowing all would be okay. Thanks so much for taking such good care of my little family Doc.

Dr. Bruce is single-handedly responsible for giving me more time with my furbabies. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to Guinea Pigs and their extremely sensitive little systems. He is incredibly patient when it comes to my ten million questions and always takes time to walk me through options. When he is stumped (Which happens VERY RARELY), he doesnt give up, he reaches out to his contacts. Not something many would take the time to do! I know he must sleep, but I am not sure when, because he is always available, day or night; an extreme comfort for a very concerned pet parent. I cannot imagine bringing my 6 little loves to any one else and highly recommend him for all pets, big or small! Thank you Dr. Bruce!

Bruce is a vet that genuinely cares about every single one of the animals that he treats. He gets to know them as well as the owners and does what It takes to make sure the animal gets the care it needs and deserves. The staff is also always very friendly and knowledgeable. He is very fairly priced and is willing to work with you whether its finances, scheduling, emergencies, etc. He is the best vet hands down and refer everybody to him. Great vet. Great person.

Dr. Bruce is wonderful! After several people recommended him, I decided to take my 3 dogs to Dr. Bruce when I moved to the Rutland area. One of my dogs has very severe anxiety and does not do well with strangers or new places. However, she immediately loved Dr. Bruce and let him examine her no problem! Although I have moved about an hour away from Rutland, I still take my dogs to Eastwood Animal Clinic.

Whether it was Guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, cats, chinchillas, rabbits, or a three-legged duck, Bruce has always known what to do. Theres reason to wait at Eastwood. Bruce and his staff really care for the animals, and remember who you and your pet are. Since he doesnt ever turn away emergencies, sometimes the wait can be longer than you may like. But his knowledge and compassion are worth waiting for. I only wish they took humans as patients!

Bruce cares about animals more then anyone else I have ever met. The staff is great, and getting an appointment is easy. Emergencies are dealt with as quickly as you can get to the office. If you are looking for a vet you will not find a better one anywhere.

Bruce is very knowledgable and deeply caring to our dogs. When we are in the office, I talk with folks who are there with their hens, gerbils, birds, reptiles.... He does it all and everyone is very happy with the care he provides.
