This is the worst medical facility in the state, if not the country. The doctors are always incompetent. After multiple bouts with malpractice suits, this is where a doctors career ends. If you are sick and visit Concentra, they will tell you that you have the common cold, to use a salt gargle, drink fluids and take Tylenol for your fever. Thanks for the $105 worth of advice. The only way you will get meds is if you test positive for a quick strep test when you have a sore throat. So basically, if you know that you have an infection and HAVE to visit this place, make sure you have been sick at least 10 days and are on the verge of pneumonia. If not, no meds for you. Now, they will pretend that they dont want to over-prescribe antibiotics but in reality this just means that they are too incompetent to tell the difference between a treatable infection and the common cold (which isnt hard for the average person, let alone medical professional). They wont even prescribe to a person who KNOWS they got sick from another person that THEIR DOCTORS had previously diagnosed and prescribed medication for. (In my experience, as noted above, the first person in this case was prescribed medication in the 11th day of their sickness and WAS on the verge of pneumonia). The second major issue with Concentra is their billing procedures and how terrible it is to deal with them on an HRA basis. Every time I have been there it is a complete mess with health insurance and reimbursement accounts. I had to call them to request they submit a claim to my insurance provider to utilize/process my HRA TWICE and by the end of it they ended up billing me an extra $22.82 ON TOP of the service that they had already provided. I guess that was to cover the fees of the half-wit that I spoke to in their billing department. I ended up having to eat that cost after spending a couple of hours on the phone with them and my HRA provider. What a joke. Stay away from ALL Concentra locations at ALL costs. I will never visit this facility ever again. Ill pay more to visit the ER, or schedule an appointment with my primary care physician. I would recommend that you do the same.

Was going to Concentra for a work related injury. Dont normally rate Urgent Cares, but Im specifically rating this Concentra for the physical therapist that I was seeing while I was in their care. Now, beforehand, The second time I went to PT, I had another women who scolded me for missing an appointment because I had the stomach flu. She was rude, unpleasant, and just not friendly. Ive been so fed up with doctors and the whole medical system for a long time because of the ways Ive been burned and she just -- UGHH. I was just so angry after having this women do my PT that I just had to request that I did not go back to see her. The other Physical Therapist that I saw, Julie, went above and beyond to take care of me, teach me things that she really didnt have to, and even gave me her card to email her if I had any questions about my fitness journey! Its NOT that hard to be friendly. Customer service is everything and this gal just blew my mind. 5+ starts for her, and 4 stars for my overall satisfaction with Concentra South Burlington, Vermont.

I used Concentra because I needed a respirator fit test and titer labs and quantiferon lab for a job. I called ahead, since I had to pay for these myself, to see how much the cost would be for services and was told $165. Once I arrived I waited about 20 minutes and then was called back up and told the total cost was going to be $475. I decided to leave and try to find my old titer medical records. On my second visit I waited for an hour before being called in and when greeted by the tech was asked "did you bring your mask?" I hadnt, since I wasnt told it wouldnt be provided. I opted to return the same day and on my second trip in waited for 2 hours before being brought back. I filled out medical release paperwork while I was there to make sure my lab results were to be faxed to my company. I was told the results would be done and faxed by Monday. It is Tuesday and my company has still not received the results, so I am yet again WAITING. This place needs some serious work. I will say at least everyone there was friendly.

Went in for work related oil burns on my arm, hand and face. While I had no wait time the coworker that brought me was sent out to buy pain meds because they had none on site (other than injectable). When waiting to be examined I was given an ice pack and basically told that regardless of pain levels I would be fine. I was given burn cream (for just the face) and left to wait for my co worker to return with pain medication alone and scared. Eventually, after complaining enough, and long after I had reached my pain threshold I was finally allowed to get burn cream on my hand and arm. Despite mentioning possible oil in my eye, my forearm, hand and face were never even examined.. It was an upsetting and miserable experience.

My mother went to Concentra because of a work related injury. She first went to the emegancy room and then saw her own doctor... She was then sent by her company there because its a workers comp claim. While my mom was on the floor bent over in tears he laughed at her, didnt even examine her because she already had seen her doctor, and kicked her out the room, and on top of it all called my mothers company and lied that she wouldnt not allow him to examine her. I am beyond shocked at the situation and the way this doctor acted his name is Oliver Barkley... & this all happened after she waited beyond two hours in the waiting room. Worst doctors office in the country!

On my last years visit it took me forever to be seen by a Dr. I kinda ignored it since I came here during their busy hours on a weekdays. Today, its my second visit after a year. I thought I made the right decision by coming here on a Saturday which is today September 10 2016 thinking and Hoping The service will be improved or at least faster and quicker than the last time Ive visited, but No ....I have been waiting almost 2 hours now and still sitting and wait. I cant believe this place still in business. Good thing I did not pay for this visit the company that will hire me is the one paying for it. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Im not kidding.

my 88 yr old mother developed a rash that i thought was bed bugs or some sort of bite, we were on vaca in charlotte so we went to the urgent care in so. burlington. afrer waiting over 2 hours we finally saw a doctor who said it was poison ivy- it was so obviously NOT POISON IVY.. she prescribed a prescription cortisone and sent us on our way. my mother saw her own doctor when she got home and it turns out it was scabies....i realize the doctors there are not specialists but to call OBVIOUS bite type markings poison ivy? think twice before you go. i am giving them one star because it wont let me post the review with no stars
