The doctors here are fine, the real problem is with the receptionists. Of all the companies I have ever interacted with, I would rate the service received here from the people who answer the phones as the worst I have ever dealt with. Calls are not returned, questions are half answered, and all inquiries result in you must see a doctor, and you must wait a long time for an appointment. Ive called about a simple prescription renewal and repeatedly I spoke to someone who promised to call me back and never did. The real problem seems to be cultural in the sense that the receptionists seem to have an attitude or culture that customers are a pain and do not need to be treated respectfully and courteously. I thinks some customer service focused training is really needed.

Stowe Family Practice is comparatively fine but has been dragged into the national tide of considering Medicaid recipients as expendable ( even children). The doctors themselves are polite and courteous but most definitely give a different type of service to the wealthier privately insured patients of affluent Stowe. This two tier policy extends to hospitals, naturopaths, and the medical industry in general. It is sad that a child with a persistent cough that is lasting months is merely brushed off with repeated antibiotic prescriptions instead of doing the standard diagnostics that a rich persons child would get , such as blood tests for mold exposure or any of the other myriad causes

I saw Dr. Quin three times and he introduced himself to me every time as if he had never met me before. To me, this tells me that he didnt look at my chart thoroughly before entering the exam room. Stowe Family Practice suffered a massive loss when they lost Dr. Bisbee. If youre not coming here for anything more than a cold or flue, I suggest going to a teaching hospital, like UVM or Dartmouth.

GO SOMEPLACE ELSE. PUT A BAND AID ON YOULL BE FINE NEXT CUSTOMER...... The SFP receptionists are nice and seem caring. The problem here is the DOCTORS, especially Dr Quinn he was terrible, they just care about getting as many patients in and out the door in the shortest time. They do not care about your health they only care about the bottom line paid by insurance $$$$.

Clea has been my primary care physician for three years now; and for the past 8 months has cared for me during my first pregnancy. She will also be my babys pediatrician after delivery. She is by far the best physician I have ever seen. She is extremely competent and caring.
