Very VERY rude staff and front desk worker! I called to make an appointment and the woman behind the desk was extremely rude. This conversation took place on Monday, April 4th in the late afternoon. She was not very friendly and sounded as if she did not even want to be at work today. I would have been a new patient and she was very short with answering my questions and sarcastic. I also asked her to email me my appointment time and day as a confirmation and she replied we dont do that here??? I am VERY disappointed in her tone and attitude over the phone so I can only imagine how that office must be. My advice...stay away from here because if thats there first impression for their business then Im definitely NOT interested in going to this dermotologist ever!

Dr. Kaufman is truly a fantastic physician. I am literally at a loss for words. It has been a huge struggle trying to find a good dermatologist in the DC area, but I can finally say I have found an amazing one. Although the office isnt the most modern by any means (you really dont need this), you get a doc who will take his time with you, get to know you, listen to your concerns and do what he can to make it better. He doesnt cut corners and doesnt try to scam you. He has a warm and gentle demeanor which makes for great bedside manner. I highly recommend him to ALL of my friends and family. Even if you live in the city, this is WORTH the short drive!

VERY ENTERTAINING DOCTOR. He has a GREAT sense of humor. Had several doctors put me on Enbrel, Humira, Stolara, etc, for psoriasis... all worked well, but had risks involved that they failed to mention. Main risk being cancer and it was linked to adults in their late 20s to early 30s. He was concerned about the long term effects it would have on me and expressed his concerns about them. Gave me the option to continue, but cared about the increased odds of developing cancer from them. In short, he wasnt there to get my money, he was there to get me fixed!

I have been a patient of Dr Kaufmans for about 25 years. He is very knowledgeable regarding skin issues that are uncommon. His bedside manner is unmatched and his humor sets the tone for a great appt. He is also Derm Dr to my Daughter and Granddaughter. As stated the office is not modern and personally I dont need that. I always found the staff to be kind and professional. I highly recommend him!

Dr Kaufman is a wonderful physician. After 4 years and 3 rheumatologist misdiagnosis, Dr. Kaufman nailed it. And hes very funny. Great doctor. Great guy!
