I found Dr. Faria to be extremely knowledgeable and I was given one of the most thorough skin exams to date. Ive been to her 3 times and Im very pleased with her expertise. I like the fact that she is conservative when appropriate and isnt quick to hand out a script and push you out the door. She takes the time to ask questions and educate. Ive been given both a script when needed or a simple remedy or recommendation. Few mainstream doctors consider the whole body such as diet, allergies, season, etc. I dont feel money is the driving force of her practice - refreshing! Only thing I can think of not making 5 stars would be the issues Ive had w/being scheduled incorrectly and phone communication w/front desk staff. They are always pleasant so that wont deter me from using Excell.

Dr. Faria was so rude and not compassionate whatsoever it was utterly shocking that she is actually a doctor. First she yelled out a scary diagnosis without even talking to me, then when I asked questions about it she said it was not my place and that she is the doctor so its her business. I was shocked and wanted to know what these invasive test were she was superscribing and what I should expect, and all she did was storm out of the room. She then came back in at my request and said that she doesnt have time to answer questions and that I was holding her back from seeing her many other patients, at that point I decided to just go see another dermatologist. It was the worst treatment I had ever received at a medical facility.

Dr. Duyen Faria is the absolute BEST!! She saved me when my skin, and especially on my face, was unbearably burning and swollen. I had chronic dermatitis since childhood for decades. But since she treated me, IT Has been GONE for many years. No one was able to help me after seeing several other Dermatologists before going to her. Her knowledge is SO SUPERIOR compared to all the Dermatologists I have seen in my lifetime. She is so kind and thorough; she always makes time to answer all my questions. I travel over an hour to see her. I wish I could clone her and sprinkle her around the world to help others who are in years of agony, as I was.--Judith Grady Hamburg

I have used Dr. Faria for quite a few years and all times were great experiences for my SPECIAL NEEDS child..Except this one . Dr. Faria was very rude and made me cry in front of my son by saying that her services would be limited to my son and that really we could not afford her services and then when i asked my son to leave she would not allow him to leave and as for the check in receptionst she could atleast pretend she likes her job...I was so scared . Please be cautious please this was horrific my son cried for 3 hours cause the doctor yelled at me and yes...I did not provoke her i could not get a word in edge wise...Please be leary

Even when I moved an hour away, I still drive all the way back to see Dr. Faria. She has a no nonsense style that gets right to the point. No sugar coating, and I like that! More importantly, she does not just prescribe a cream or pill and call it done. She helped me find the root of the problem, which turned out to be a food sensitivity! She worked with me until we tracked down the real root cause and I cannot thank her enough. She has a brilliantly intuitive style and has not made a wrong diagnosis for me yet. I trust her completely and would not go anywhere else. : )

Dr. Faria is great. She can be succinct and to the point, which may seem not overly warm and fuzzy, but I found her to be very likeable & caring. She is efficient in her approach, a no nonsense get-the-job-done type of provider. As a health care professional, I found her totally competent and trust worthy.

I had severe eczema my WHOLE life and Dr. Faria had my skin clear in just a couple of weeks. I have not had another flare up since meeting with her. She is super thorough and very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend!!!
