I had a thorough eye exam with Dr. Lewis. I previously had gone to another optometrist in the area, after 2 sets of incorrect lenses that didnt enhance my vision I went to Associates in Eyecare after reading reviews. From walking in the door to frame selection I know why the reviews are so positive. Dr. Lewis took time to answer questions and showed my what my vision was with the lenses I have compared to what I would be seeing with the new prescription. Kam was also extremely knowledgeable regarding lens selection for new sunglasses, took time to show me what I would see with the different types. There was no pressure in purchasing frames for my regular glasses as the frames I had were less than 6 months old. The price I paid for both sets of lenses and the frames for the sunglasses was extremely reasonable. I agree with another reviewer, frames and lenses at Associates in Eyecare are no more expensive than what you would pay at the Mall or discount stores, here you can be assured the prescription is correct the first time, plus you will have a positive outcome!

We have been going as a family to Associates in Eyecare in Bristow, VA for several years now. We will only go them. Let me explain. When you find a business that cares about you, not as a dollar sign, but as a person, you stick with that company. The staff at Associates in Eyecare are dedicated to keeping my familys and mine eyesight the very best it can be. From scratches on the eye, to eye-wear that looks great on us, to seeing us through the different transitions the eyes go through, the team is simply the best. They know the intricacies of the insurance plans and ensure that we get the best bang for our buck. They have the latest and greatest tools, too, to look at and diagnose your eyes. Above all this, they are approachable, friendly, just like part of our family, and this is why we go to them and will continue to go to them. You dont leave behind the loyalty they exhibit and neither will we.

The service is very professional, the only negative feeling is that the whole stuff and especially Dr Colbourne hardly push you to buy the extra services, not covered by insurance, like digital photos etc. I understand that the medicine in nowadays is business, but the Dr. doesnt have to be so insistent. I could understand if it was offered to specific person as a medical recommendation, but it was a same story with myself, my wife, my both kids and couple friends of mine. All the optometrist offices offer that at beginning of service, but once you decline it, they stop annoying. At this office they keep pushing it again and again. This leaves me with a feeling of flea market. Like I said the service is very professional, but there are a lot of other very professional optometrists in the area who are not trying to suck your money so obviously

As a new customer, my experience here was great! Was in the shopping center and decided to stop in and look around and ask about my insurance coverage. The receptionist greeted me and had one of the optician review my insurance coverage then look at possible frame choices. Made appointments for the next day for my wife and I. The exams were through, the ophthalmologist was great at explaining everything, so we understood our needs and options. Finished up the day with selecting new frames and look forward to new glasses in about 10 days!

My experiences at Associates in Eyecare were nothing less than excellent! The staff is friendly, courteous, professional and caring! They are always trying to see what they can do to make ones experience better and better. They explain everything they are going to do in detail - from finding out if your insurance will cover anything to why you need a particular lens. They dont treat you like a patient so much as they treat you like a friend. Highly recommend.

Our family has been going here for years. Dr Colbourne and his staff is very professional, knowledgeable and patient with clients of all ages. He often takes the time to explain all options and concerns with us. One time, my teenage son broke off a piece of his contact in his eye and it became an emergency situation. Dr Colbourne was there when we needed him most and came in after hours to take care of it. I wouldnt take my business anywhere else.

I was greeted by a friendly front desk Only waited a few minutes before Dr. Paul Colbourne guided me to the pre test room where one of the pre testers conducted several test in a very efficient manner. After testing I was taken to an exam room where Dr. Paul Colbourne performed my eye test. New glasses were ordered and came within 10 days. Very please, great service.
