My husband and I were so fortunate to have Dr. Higgins and his staff take care of our boxer. We were 5 hours from home, vacationing in Cape Charles for the week, when Thor started vomiting and stopped eating. He ended up needing surgery because hed ingested something that had caused an obstruction. Not only were we comfortable leaving him at the hospital, we were incredibly pleased with the outcome. I moved from the Eastern Shore to Hampton VA a year and a half ago and drive to take my dog Rahrah to see Dr. Higgins and his wonderful staff. Very professional and friendly, I have a pit bull and every vet in my in my area insists on using a muzzle! They have never done that here.
