They have a $25 broken appointment fee and although I dont care for that policy, I get it. However, if you are going to charge a fee for missed appointments there should be an adequate reminder procedure in place. They said they waive the first missed appointment fee but refused to do that for me. When it boils down to it the problem isnt the fee at all but how the situation was handled and how extremely rude I was spoken to. I made my appointment 6 months in advance and had no reminders for the appointment until the morning of, about an hour before the appointment. The lady I spoke with asked if I could come in later that day. I was unable to, so we rescheduled for the following week. Not once did she mention this fee. I received a bill in the mail and called to discuss the situation with someone. The ladies I spoke with were rude and had zero customer service skills as well no business sense whatsoever. Its a shame because I did like the dentist but my family of five will be taking our business elsewhere. There are too many options for dentists to deal with rude people unwilling to help in such a simple situation.

I just wanted to share an experience I had with Family First Dental. I know this dentist office comes highly recommended so I decided to take my family and I there in the fall of 2014. I had cleanings done and then personally needed to go back due to needing fillings. (Dont forget to floss yall!) I didnt have dental insurance and was told by Family First to sign up with Delta and then a percentage of my filings would be covered. Well 14 months later, I receive an invoice from Family First saying I owed money on the fillings from fall of 2014. I look back at my records and think this is a mistake, phone call is made, and no its not a mistake. Family First has now decided to charge me because Delta did not cover the composite filling, even though I was assured they did. The office was extremely rude and basically said the lady who told me this, no longer worked there, and I needed to pay. Its not really about the amount of money, it is more about the customer service. I just wanted to share, so no one else is put in the same predicament. I will not be returning or recommending this office to anyone.

Family first dental is by far the best dental experience I have had in my life. As someone who has had many dental issues in the past, the team at family first has been the most helpful, informative, and friendly of any dental office I have been to. Dr. Williams is wonderful and will keep you comfortable and informed while fixing whatever issue you may have. I was very nervous about having a tooth extracted, but the wonderful team there put me at ease and the procedure went much smoother than I could have imagined. Jessie the dental hygienist was also extremely helpful, courteous, and skilled. I could go on and on about how great they were, but the easiest way to put it is that if you need dental work done in the Fredericksburg area you are best off going to family first dental.

My daughter had her first ever dental appointment with Family First. From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff was accommodating (thank you for putting the TV to Disney Jr.; I know the other patients may have been annoyed, but it was incredibly thoughtful for my girl!). The hygienist was top notch! My daughter was smiling and laughing the entire time! And the doctor had some great advice for me and my daughter to help her developing teeth. They even gave her a special prize for her first visit! On top of that, they got us into our appointment ON TIME!!! We were out in less than thirty minutes. Not only am I thrilled with Family First, I plan on switching to their office for my teeth and my husbands. Best dental office around!

I moved to the area about 3 years ago. Went to a different dental facility at first. Also in Fredericksburg and I was consistently disappointed. I mean, good service and all, but nothing spectacular. But every time I went back there were different hygienists, different doctors, different everything. So, it was a little bewildering to constantly be meeting new people. So, I gave up after a while. I did some internet research and decided to give family first dental a try. I did. Today! And, boy was I blown away. I absolutely love the facilities, I love the people and I think the doctor is one smart dude. Finally found a dental facility that I hope I can stay with for the rest of my life.

This place was great. Thorough and quick. My hygienist, Stephanie, was very knowledgeable and briefed me on everything that was going on with my teeth. She performed a detailed cleaning, X-rays, and even removed the most nuanced of stains. The doctor confirmed everything Stephanie briefed me on and provided more details on problem areas and prevention. I think one of the best things about this place is that they dont rush in to "fix" things that may be warning signs but are easily addressed through preventative measures (no gouging of the pocketbook!). I left a very happy customer and will definitely return!

I had my first ever appointment today. After having a horrible experience at a dental office in the area I was very nervous. I also had to bring my two young children with me. The office stay were over the top helpful! The hygienist was very inviting and helped me with the kids so I could remain calm. The dentist was absolutely amazing and I loved that he didnt try to push anything unnecessary on me. Lastly the people checking out were so helpful with helping keep the kids occupied and busy so I could make my future appointments. I wish we werent moving in a few months so I could continue being seen there.

Ever since we found out about family first Dental through a friend, my Family and i have been very satisfied. my husband who always hated dentist now trust DR. William and his Staff because they made him feel at ease, my Children enjoy going to see the dentist and that because everyone makes us feel so welcome. I would recommend Family first Dental to anyone. oh and before i forget the Children get to do treasure box after their visit and thats one of the things my children enjoy doing after their visit. My daughter was diagnosed with several cavities by her dentist and I brought her to Family First Dental for a second opinion. Dr Williams gave me an honest diagnosis and told me that my daughter had only one cavity. I am so thankful that I brought her here because otherwise, she would have had two more fillings than she needed. My daughter didnt even feel him doing the filling. This office is so friendly and Dr Williams is so wonderful that my children love to come to the dentist. My husband and I also go there now as well! I highly recommend coming to Family First Dental.

I have honestly never liked going to the dentist but I was new in town and needed to find a new one. I am so glad that I stumbled across Family First Dental. Dr. Williams and his staff were all very kind and welcoming, they made me feel extremely comfortable. It is just a happy environment and I left smilling for more than the reason that they did an AWESOME job cleaning my teeth. My husband is going to set up an appointment now and Im looking forward to going back! I have never wrote a review for a business but they definitely deserve the praise. I highly recommend them!
