I was so incredibly disappointed in this place. The first time I went in, they messed up my X-ray so they had to run it again. I wasnt comfortable with it, but they assured me that the radiation was low and not a big deal. When they sent my insurance company the information for my X-rays, they grouped it in with another X-ray that I had had done recently, so the insurance company did not cover any of it and I had to pay around 200 dollars. Since I couldnt afford another consultation appointment (to establish me as a patient) at another dentist office, I decided to have my wisdom teeth removed here but made it VERY clear that if my insurance could not cover a majority of it, I would not have the procedure done. Heather ran the numbers and assured me insurance would cover just over half. After I had the teeth removed, I received a call saying that insurance in fact, did not cover any of it (around 2,000 dollars). The dentistry itself is wonderful, I never had any problems and they were perfectly friendly. So if money is not an issue, this is your place. Unfortunately, I made it apparent that I was a recent graduate with an entry-level salary desperately trying to save money for school and they continued to be uninformative and dismissive about money.

I hadnt been to the dentist in four years and I was very nervous about making an appointment. When I called, the receptionist was understanding and kind. She gave me a price estimate for an exam and x-rays, which I greatly appreciated. When I arrived for my exam, the friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere of the office immediately put me at ease. My hygienist treated my anxiety with respect and gentleness and Dr. Dameron took the time to listen to my questions. Unlike other dentist offices Ive visited in the past, the staff of Fredericksburg Dental Center seemed interested in giving patients the best experience possible. I even made an appointment for six months out and Im not even nervous (well, maybe a little, but way less this time!). The reviews speak for themselves. Ive already recommended FDC to both my parents.

Having a history of painful dental experiences as a child, I avoided dentists for too much of my life. When I came to Frederiksburg I was referred to two different dentists, but the experiences were unsatisfactory, both professionally and the awkward financial information given to me.A good friend referred me to Stanley Dameron DDS and Assoc.several years ago, and what a difference. Competent, patient friendly, and full financial disclosure.If I had started my life with "Dameron" I probably would not have to see them now...The competence and friendliness extends one who works in that office.

dr dameron has been my dentist since 1989 i believe. my husband had gone to him and recommended him over the dentist i had been seeing. i wouldnt go anywhere else. he really shows compassion to his patients and does a terrific job. ive had several things hes taken care of for me over the years and ive never had any problems. i love his staff as well. i have seen dr archibald a couple of times and been pleased with him also. i would highly recommend this office. why would anyone go to one of those huge offfices where the same name in on all the offices? how personal could that be?

I hate Dentists...not Dr. Archibald. The clinic is clean, the staff are super friendly and welcoming. When I was first greeted by Dr Archibald, he took the time to get to know me and during the procedure, I received a thorough explanation of the problem and several options on how to remediate it. Most importantly, when I left, I didnt feel like this terrible person for having a cavity or four... Some of the procedures are a bit pricey, especially if the office is out of network for insurance, but Id gladly pay more for quality and professionalism. Highly recommended.

Dr. Dameron and Dr. Archibald take such good care of me! Ive always been able to feel comfortable and trust that my smile is in the best hands. You dont always get a second chance if you dont take good care of your teeth! This office is most interested in good oral health and gentle, competent dental care. When I cracked one of my molars, Dr. Dameron placed a crown and I was good as new again. Even the temporary crown was fabulous! This is definitely the place to go to make sure you keep smiling!

I have been going to Fredericksburg Dental Center for over 20 years and it has always been a very pleasant experience. I have total confidence in the work they do. They keep up with the latest technology and procedures. Their Bridge Work is superb. I was in a bad accident where teeth were knocked out. I had to have Bridges and Overlays. The work they did looks natural and normal in appearance, giving me the confidence I need when working in public. I highly recommend their work.

We LOVE Dr. Dameron and Dr. Archibald. I have always felt like my family has been in competent hands for probably about 17 years now, and that they put our dental health about everything else. The rest of the staff is super friendly and they never nag or preach about how well youre brushing or flossing either. With a family of 5 going twice a year, theres hardly a month one of us isn´t in there and it is always quick and usually painless!

Ive been a patient of this practice possibly as long as 15 years and I have yet to be disappointed in the care Ive received. Every person involved in the practice has always treated me professionally and compassionately. I feel like they are my friends and have my best interests at heart. As the daughter of a dental surgeon, Im quite selective about dental care. I wouldnt dream of going elsewhere.

As always, it was a great experience. My Hygienist, Cindy was friendly, very thorough, and did an excellent job. She explained everything that needed to be done. Also, Dr. Archibald was kind, friendly, and helpful. Tina and Heather were friendly, and helpful as well. Dr. Dameron is the best! Dr. Archibald is fantastic! I have problem teeth and have been to many dentists, most who were not that great, e.g. made crowns that did not fit properly. Dr. Archibald is knowledgeable, understanding, and gentle, and I am sure he would not do anything that is not in your best interest. Great staff as well. I highly recommend this office.
