We set up a new patient appointment, took time off of work (two working parents, one commuting from DC, rearranged schedules because we were told both parents were required), came at the time they see new patients, were told what day and time to come, asked to request records, which we did, only to get there and find they had no appointment for us. They implied we somehow, misunderstood....really? How would we know that they ONLY take these appointments at certain times if we didnt think we had an appointment? After waiting for AN HOUR AND A HALF, we were told to come back another day. THE SINGULAR WORST new patient physician experience in my 52 years. I would not trust this group at all...they do not seem to take any personal responsibility. No matter what the cause of the confusion I would never, ever treat a new patient this way. Its a relationship that needs to begin with mutual trust and respect. There was clearly none for us, our time or the needs of our child, for whom we sought treatment. Its was ALL about the inconvenience of their staff and schedule...and absolutely no insight to anything or anyone else, nor even the thought that perhaps, they had somehow had a misstep in their process. What would happen if we really needed them in an emergency? Its concerning to say the least and I question what commitment there would be off hours, in a hospital setting (that would certainly be inconvenient..), or another situation that would require compassion, understanding or flexibility.

Out of the many pediatricians Ive taken my children to over the last 21 years right through today, both in Houston, TX and here in Glen Allen, Dr. Ryland is by far the best! Her knowledge is amazing and she always demonstrates true caring. She is patient, thorough, and pretty much right on target with her dianosis every time I take my kids in. Beyond her exceptional abilities as a pediatrician, she has a wonderful personality, and my kids love her! The office staff always answers the phone, not an automated voice system to navigate, and they are all very polite and professional. If youre searching for a pediatrician, I highly recommend Dr. Ryland!

The office staff always greets you with a warm smile and welcome. The atmosphere in the office is a nice mix between professionalism and fun for the kids. When my child is sick, the last thing I want to deal with is a automated phone messaging system. Pediatric Partnership answers the phone everytime, they even offered me a same time sick appointment. I dont ever have to wait more then 15 minutes in the waiting room. Dr. Ryland and her staff are wonderful and just make parenting two kids a little easier.

We switched to Pediatric Partnership from a different doctor and we could not be happier. They are always so kind and friendly. They respond back really quickly when I call with a question. We love Dr. Ryland and are here to stay.
