Unfortunately we live in a day where bedside manners alone do not come close to meeting the health needs of our children. My son was diagnosed with strep on Thursday. Its Tuesday and Ive yet to hear back from a licensed health care provider after leaving multiple messages on their emergency line to set up an appointment. I know deep down Dr. Rubio is a great physician and man. Its why we went to him. However, he and the other practitioners affiliated with him have chosen to buffer themselves with a staff with an acumen of a cable provider, not the health care provider for your children. Dr. Rubios practice only sees patients 3-4 days a week. On off days and weekends its understood that critical care centers are backup. After that its left to the front office whether children are seen regardless of referrals of emergencies... All said, I truly hope my kids can see Dr. Rubio again. Hes nice. Meanwhile well settle for one of the other practices affiliated with the long list of pediatricians referred to us in the Stone Ridge / South Riding area.

I love this office. The doctors here are the very best and most kind people Ive ever met. I have some personal opinions on vaccines and they totally respect me and dont pressure me to vaccinate. We live in Texas now and I have yet to find a pediatrician that I adore as much as Dr. Cap and Dr. Rubio. I tried the pediatrician on the floor below this office and though also very nice they could not get me in quickly when my kids were sick with a fever and they didnt seem to respect where I was coming from with the vaccines. These doctors always made me feel like we were there only patients in the office. Youd be crazy not to make this practice your childs pediatrician.

I love Dr. Rubios care and service! He is unparalled and his passion for kids shows everytime I take my kids in. I recently switched from an overcrowded Ashburn Pediatrics and his office is a fresh of breath air. He takes time to talk to you, answer your questions, and really get to know his patients. Making appointments is easy, and I can always get in when I need to. Even one morning when my two year old got injured he saw him in 30 minutes. That would have never happened at the other office. His nurses and front desk personnel are great too! I cant say enough good things about Dr. Rubio and his staff.

This is my first review ever of anything ever online or anywhere else. Ive attempted to reach Dr. Rubio over the past 4 days to see my son for a major health issue. When he finally made a call he called my wife. Instead of inquiring about our son who has been sick for 4 days he instructed her on how to better treat his staff. I cant say in words how upset I am as Im rocking my sick son...

Dr. Rubio and his team are THE BEST there is! Responsive, Caring and for a single doctor practice hes always available. Also, their facility is always immaculate! It was very important for my wife and I to have a doctor for our son that he could grow up with and not have a new face every time we went in for a visit. I would highly recommend them!

Dr. Rubio is the best pediatric doctor we have ever had. The staff is always helpful and kind. The doctor sees the kids right away if they are sick, and he is always so kind as to write letters to the school regarding medical issues, learning delays etc. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this office. I am so blessed to be apart of this small practice.

One of the nurses/medical assistant was rude, did not smile once, and was very unprofessional in the way of communicating ..she clearly does not like her job and since shes working with sick children maybe she should be a little more understanding and compassionate... or change job

Excellent, the best in the area. Like one of the reviewer said: they do takw the time to talk to you and explain to you the situation. They do not rush you out of the office like others so call "doctors" do. It is like a real Family Doctor, keep it up. :-)
