Very good experience. My 8 yo son and I have gone to Elden Family Dental for two 6 month checkups so far, now. Dr. Meer does what is dentally necessary for us to have excellent dental health - sealants for my sons molars (due to deep grooves inherited from me ... I wish those had been around when I was a kid! Maybe I wouldnt have so many fillings) and flouride varnish to strengthen the teeth. For me ... Dr. Meer got my teeth whiter, just by cleaning them, than they have been in years. Without bleaching. We will be returning to Dr. Meer regularly, because I feel that he knows what he is doing when it comes to dentistry. Plus, his office is nice, in a clean, spartan way. It is like the difference between taking your Jaguar car to just any mechanic, or taking it to a mechanic who really knows the engineering of Jaguars. With the former, the car would probably get by for a few some years, but eventually breakdown. With the latter, the car would still be like new years later. <-- Thats what I want. Update: Have been to Dr. Meer for 6 month checkups and still very good. I will definitely stick with this dentist.

Finding a dental expert that you can rely on is not easy but I was lucky enough to find Elden Family Dental and Dr. Meer who helped me to preserve a high level of dental health with his personalized attention and his high-tech office. Since the first time I came to Elden Family Dental I could tell I was in good hands; the firs time patient forms were very easy to fill and the attention you receive since the beginning at reception is incredible which complements the great level of service and expertise you get from Dr. Meer. With this experience in mind I didnt hesitate in becoming an official patient of Dr Meer and to refer three other friends. His bed side manner and attentiveness are unparalleled - he offers a pain free experience with a soft spoken tone. It was my first visit to Elden Family Dental seeing Doctor Meer today. As much as I have had problem with my teeth over years (ever since I was 15 ) I must say, that I am MUCH picky on my dentist. I just moved to Reston and sure was very nervous to see new dentist, but I found Dr. Meer exceptionally professional, kind and caring. He valued his patient, explained the problem, took his time way over the limit to care for my not so well teeth and gum. In my opinion Dr. Meer is a young professional dentist who kindly took time to take care of his patient well. I already have decided to take my daughter back to his office and recommended him to my family and friends. Thank you Dr. Meer ! Job WELL done !

This dentist sucks.. I called them with a dental emergency and he told me since I was not his patient he couldnt take responsibility for it. So much for caring about people. I guess he only care about his existing patience. so much for a Hippocratic oath. Stay for away from these people if you want any compassion.

Nobody wants to go to the dentist, but my experience was as good as it gets. Dr. Meer was really thoughtful about if I was ok and needed to adjust during the cleaning. My only criticism (not against him) is that he referred me to an out of network oral surgeon. He still gets 5 stars, though...
