Dr. Queen is a patient, kind, and responsive gentleman and the staff at his practice are respectful and professional. I fear dentists because of pain. You go there in pain, endure some measure of pain during and after the procedure in order to hopefully be free of pain and have a better smile. Normally it doesn’t work out that way for me as I have had poor experiences in the past with dentists and honestly developed some trust issues that causes me to ask a lot of questions about the treatment, do a lot of comparisons (including shopping around) and maybe even be a bit of a pain in the butt with my indecisiveness about the whole thing. Like I said I have some trust issues when it comes to dentists. I have to say that Dr. Queen was patient with me taking his time to explain my treatment options, and custom tailoring my plan to suit my needs and desires. I explained my fears and he did his best to allay them with well reasoned explanations. Finally after much contemplation I settled on a treatment plan. Once I finally settled into the chair and nervously prepared myself for the pain that I was almost certain was going to come, I was doubly surprised that how much care Dr. Queen took to make sure I was absolutely and utterly numb… I mean I couldn’t feel a darn thing and I was actually smiling and giggling while he worked because I was soooo thrilled I was not in pain! For the first time in a couple of months I did not feel pain from a blasted tooth that had been the bane of my existence. I felt NO pain and left the office blissfully numb! He really did not spare any effort to make sure I did not feel any more pain that I had to and so I’m impressed enough to write him this review. The prices he charges are fair, they are average relative to other Dentists in the area. Give or take a couple hundred dollars for the whole treatment…. The point is that I do not mind spending a couple hundred more to know I am receiving the most superior product especially when it comes to my mouth health. Anyone who has received bad care, or bad dental work knows exactly what I am talking about. Dr. Queen and his staff are absolutely the best. They are caring, attentive, always on time. They truly care about and remember even the smallest details about their patients. I was a patient of Dr. Queens many years ago when he was with what I would refer to as a "dental depot" - just a quick turnover of staff all the time and you felt like a number. I had work done by Dr. Queen several times there and was hooked but was totally bummed when I tried to make an appointment a year later and they said he was gone! I was thrilled to find him again (thank you Google) and have been going to him for my dental care - which from time to time has been VERY extensive - for about 8 years now. He is very conservative and doesnt try to every "sell" me anything. He is honest and gives me all the possibilities to help with my decisions. He is always there in an emergency. And he is a perfectionist. I have had several crowns replaced and he has sent them back to the lab for re-do because he was not satisfied that the color was perfect. He and his staff are always obviously continually trained since their techniques and equipment are always the latest availalbe and they all know how to use it. I have recommended Dr. Queen to at least 6 people who after visiting him said they will never go to another dentist. He and his staff ROCK!

I dont remember how I found Elden Street Dental, but Im glad I did. I have been going there for years. The office is very clean and relaxing. The loyal, happy staff and returning patients are a reflection of how the owner, Dr. Queen, treats people. He really cares and isnt out to swindle your money with false and unecessary procedures. I have recommended him to all my friends whenever theyve needed anything done- whether major or minor.

From my experience, this dental practice runs very efficiently. No unnecessary delay from my scheduled appointment time. The front desk staff was prepared for my appointment, the dental assistants were highly competent and friendly, and Dr. Queen had a "chair-side" manner that was comforting... a cheery disposition to complement his obviously capable hands. I absolutely recommend this place.

I have used this firm for a few years coming and going in VA. Every time they have treated be extremely well and been on-time. A big plus. They are open late and have been very helpful to include filling out pre-deployment paperwork I just arrived back in VA and just scheduled my semi-annual cleaning via email. Looking forward to another great experience.

I need to confess! They are amazing, the entire team. I have been a patient of the practice since 1993 ( i think) and now live in Florida. I make sure to see them every six months for my cleaning while visiting with my family.
