This office has an ideal location and the parking is free and plentiful around the building. Once you take the elevator up to the office its clear RTC Dental is different from most dental offices. It is pristinely white with different colored lights, a very modern look. However excited I was about the sleek, modern looking office I was severely underwhelmed by the staff. My original appointment was on a Saturday, booked 2 weeks in advance. I booked through the app "ZocDoc" which provides doctors offices with your insurance and personal information as well as schedules the appointment for you. I have used this app for two dentists, one dermatologist, and one general physician before. I called 1 hour before my appointment to inform them that traffic from DC was surprisingly bad and I may make it right on time vs arriving a few minutes early. They took that opportunity to tell me they had called me the day before (when I had this appointment for weeks) to tell me they need more insurance information or Id be paying out of pocket! To add insult to injury they said I could still arrive but they cant do any of this paperwork on a weekend- so i couldnt use my insurance based on the info the app ZocDoc provided?!?!? I was appalled at the lack of notice and the fact that they never planned on calling me more than once before my appointment on Saturday to attempt to reach me. I rearranged plans and rescheduled for the following Saturday to allow for the confirmation of insurance on a weekday. After confirming on Monday I thought maybe my bad experience was just a fluke. RTC Dental called me around 9 AM, 5 hours before my rescheduled appointment and asked me if I can come in 3 hours earlier (11 AM vs 2 PM), I said I could not. LIKE CLOCKWORK they call me at 11 AM and say the Dentist has had "an emergency" and has left the office. Coincidence that if I had rescheduled I would have been his last convenient appointment?? Im not so sure. Overall Im extremely disappointed but maybe my case is unusual- why I got so unlucky with my experience I have no idea :/

After dreading the dentist for years, recent pain from a wisdom tooth sent me on a search. After asking around I was highly referred to Dr. Gholam Ali Maimee and for good reason! This was the best dental experience that i could have expected. When scheduling my appointment with Zahida, I was able to verify my insurance information on the spot and suprisingly schedule a 7pm appointment during the week. The state of the art office is very welcoming, especially being able to watch cable during my assessment. Normally one big worry is the backdoor tactics of charges and fees. Once, my assessment was completed Dr. Ali made his recommendations with thorough explanation and made sure i was completely comfortable before scheduling my extraction. Even better, instead of the game that ive experienced with other dentists, where they give you an "idea" of what you could pay. I knew exactly how much my insurance covered and what i was responsible for before my extraction. After my first cleaning, in too long with Jessica went pain free and seeing the results I had all of the confidence in the world that this office would go well. Believe it or not, the extraction of all 4 wisdom teeth and 1 molar damaged because of them only took 1hr. Dr. Ali was so precise with his approach I couldnt even tell when they were removed and there was no damage to my gumbs at all. The total cost was far below any dentist i compared in the area, to begin with but the fact that the service was above and beyond what i ever would have expected from a dental visit, is why im taking the time to write this review! I will refer and have referred anyone and everyone to Dr. Ali and his team. Best experience i could have asked for!!

I never thought I would say this but, I love my dentist! My family has had nothing but positive experiences with RTC dental. My first time there they were running a special for new patients, a teeth whitening kit. I expected them to cheap out and give me a Crest White strips or something, but they didnt! They had me fitted for the bleaching trays that very visit (I came for a regular check up). They were ready in a week or two later and Dr. Miamee sat down with me for like 20 minutes and showed me how to use them and what to look out for. No charge, no co-pay and he wasnt rushed like I was wasting his time. They also frequently send us coupons. The building they are in is near reston Town center but the building itself is kind of old inside, HOWEVER, the RTC office is very modern and beautiful. Each chair is comfortable and has its own moveable TV you can control. I reccommend them to everyone I know. It is rare that I would ever rave about a dentist, but RTC is worth raving about.

Top-notch staff and facility. Interacted with five individuals who all smiled, exuded confidence, and were clearly dedicated to providing the best care and service to clients. Reason for visit was six-month checkup (and to try a new dentist), and suspicion I might have a cavity. Mentioned that I had an ill-fitting crown that impeded my bite, something my former dentist shrugged off by saying "Youre probably grinding your teeth." Dr. Miamee fixed it painlessly in a matter of minutes, and now, for the first time in so many years, I have a normal bite again. Cleaning involved initial use of an electric tool, something brand-new in my experience, and then follow-up detailing with hand tools. Oral examination by Dr. Aman revealed a follow-up recommendation, and so was referred to an oral surgeon. * So appreciate everyones wonderful care! Great office with a very nice atmosphere. Recommend highly without reservation.

I am not one to write reviews, esp not about dentists, but after my experience with Dr. Ali of RTC Dental, I just had to say something. Dr. Ali is the BEST Dentist I have EVER come across. He came highly recommended but even I couldnt have imagined how happy I would be with his service, which, is nothing short of outstanding!!! Not only is he great at his job and an extremely talented dentist, but more importantly he is a great person and someone you can really count on to go above and beyond to help you achieve your dental goals. I cant say enough about how happy I am with my decision to work with Dr. Ali. If you are looking for a great dentist who really cares about his patients, give Dr. Ali a shot, you wont regret it!!!!

Im going to go out on a limb here and say I mayyy be the most difficult dental patient there is. As a young 26, relatively normal-looking, year old, I came to Dr. Ali with something wrong with almost every single tooth (neglected dental care throughout grad school and probably longer, FYI). Not only that, but Im pretty neurotic about any/everything going on with my health/body. Dr. Ali et al., not only put me on the right track with my dental health, but also dealt with my admittedly irrational fears and random temper tantrums (

Great experience! After calling three other dentists in the area for an emergency dental work (they were all booked) I lucked into finding RTC dental. They said they could help me as soon as I could make it to their office. I have very high anxiety about dentists and procedures but Dr. Ali and the staff made me feel at home. Dr. Alis bedside manner is amazing and Ive never felt so comfortable with a procedure before. I recommend RTC Dental to everyone I can, but especially to children or people with dental fears.
