My cat got into a nasty fight with a neighborhood cat and because we recently moved to Leesburg I needed to find a new vet to care for the battle wounds my cat received. My cat wasnt showing significant signs of being in any pain or discomfort, but there was an open wound on his side which caused extreme concern and distress so I wanted to find him immediate care (I was unsure if it was serious or infected). I contacted our previous vet to confirm the last received rabies vaccination and grew more upset from speaking to the receptionist - even though there was obvious cause for concern, I was lead to believe that my cats injuries may be fatal and I should prepare myself for the worst. I called Towne Animal Clinic after finding their number online and am so grateful I did because I was instantly calmed by the nicest front desk receptionist, Crystal. She was calm and patient while I explained the situation fully and she offered to have my cat be seen immediately that day. Her understanding and sympathetic tone, as well as sound advice, put me in enough ease to get us to the vet safely. Upon our arrival, I could see through the staffs interaction with other animal patients (and their parents) was so genuine - there was a great sense of community there. We were seen by a kind nurse (I did not catch her name) and Dr. Derbin. Both my cat and I felt comfortable with them - they certainly treated my cat as if he belonged to their own family, and the care they provided was fast and efficient. Considering that I didnt even have a scheduled appointment, I was so impressed by how much time and attention Dr. Derbin devoted to us - she was extremely understanding and thoroughly discussed the treatment she recommended, as well as addressing all my questions/concerns. She was a great comfort to both me and my cat during our visit. In light of the fact that this was an emergency appointment and we were new clients, I found their charge rate extremely reasonable for my cats treatment. I called the office the same evening to ask a few more questions and both front desk receptionists, Herbert and Crystal, pleasantly addressed all my concerns. Herbert gave me a call the following day to check on Mikeys progress. Dr. Derbin was also kind enough to address my email contact with additional follow up questions. My cat is doing wonderfully and recovering fast! All credit is due to this wonderful clinic - they are the BEST and I strongly recommend any parent to take their furry children to them. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this Veterinary Practice and staff. I have been taking both my dogs here for 2 years now and we consider them to be an extension of our family. Always delivering compassionate care with best medicine and serving clients an exceptional experience. Every staff member I have interacted with not only displays a positive attitude, but they are highly knowledgeable and well trained. They offer everything you could need for your pet and I always feel involved and well educated when Im there. Dr. Bollenbeck, Dr. Rice, Dr. Derbin, and Dr. Barrett are all fantastic to work with and have each played a role in the well-being of my dogs - whether its a routine exam or an emergency surgery, boarding or answering my questions/concerns, they work as a team to fulfill our needs. Choosing Towne Animal Clinic is an easy decision and I highly recommend making this practice your Family Veterinarian.

Dr Rice is the greatest vet ever, my mother and I both started going to him years ago when he was at Pender in Fair Oaks. My mother became very attached to Dr Rice because he was the only one out of 3 vets she tried that was able to correctly diagnose and treat one of her cats eye problems. Now that hes moved, Leesburg is not anywhere close to my house, but as Im researching where to take our new puppy to get neutered I may make the trek out there to see him. The thought of taking our dog to anyone else for surgery just freaks me out. Dr Rice is just the friendliest kindest person and he knows his stuff. The staff that I met in their office were all very friendly and knowledgeable as well.

I found Towne Animal Clinic after trying several other vets after I had moved to this area. With ten animals in our family I needed vets that were knowledgeable, compassionate and flexible. I found all of the above with the wonderful vets at Towne. They are all very knowledgeable on both cat and dog related issues and their extended hours makes it very convenient to work around your schedule. They also are a great resource for the humane organization for which I volunteer and they give back to the community. You wont regret giving Towne Animal Clinic a try if you are searching for a new vet for your fuzzy ones.

Everybody at Towne Animal Clinic is amazing! They take such good care of my fur babies when they go in for check ups, shots, and routine exams! My pups pull me into the door whenever we get there because they are always so excited to see everyone, wether it be a doctor, receptionist, or a technician. They make everything such a great experience for not only your pets, but for you too! They all take the time to listen, and are all so caring. If you want the absolute best care for your pets, Towne Animal Clinic is the place to go. I would never take my pups anywhere else!

My cats were neutered and vaccinated at Towne Animal Clinic and I absolutely loved my experience with them. They were very caring and attentive to the needs of my pets. They walked me through the whole process of their surgeries and called me right after. My pets werent afraid when we had a post op appointment. Which meant they were cared for and loved. I appreciate the vets and the assistants patience and friendliness that they had. I hope to have a long friendship with this Veternarian Clinic. This is a very good animal clinic. I have seen two different doctors and most of the techs, and I have no complaints. They have taken good care of my puppy, and always sit and explain everything that they are doing and offer suggestion with me. I have to admit, their services can be a little pricey, but I also dont have to wait weeks before my dog can be seen. I called another local vet and had to make an appointment weeks out, but when I called Towne, I was able to be seen the same day. If you are looking for convenience with quality, go with Towne.

My two dogs go to Towne Animal Clinic and see Dr. Bollenbeck. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. I have a recently adopted dog going through Heartworm treatment and an older dog diagnosed with Cushings. The Doctors are very knowledgeable, always have time for my many questions, spend a lot of time with the dogs during the appointment, and are kind and caring my dogs. This all coming from an anxious, constant worrier (I am the worrier - dogs are calm :) ). Its reassuring knowing my dogs are in good hands.
