I buy my cats prescription food here since theyre closer to where I live than my vet and they carry it on the shelf. You have to have a prescription card to check out via petsmart and thats usually fine. However, for whatever reason, the last time I renewed my presciption card and received it from Banfield, their computer didnt record the transaction and they now need me to call my vet and have them fax over another prescription authorization (all of this over cat food). While annoying to do this AGAIN after I just did this a few months ago (I accidentally kept my expired prescription card and threw out my updated one) what really REALLY irritated me was the way I was treated by the girl at the front desk. She acted like I was lying or maybe my vet faxed the authorization to petsmart and not Banfield (how would that make a difference when I RECEIVED a new card so clearly Banfield had the info). There wasnt a single sorry for the inconvenience or anything. I dont know why I would be lying over cat food but dear lord she was just awful!! Dont ever ask them for help because theyll treat you like their incompetence is your fault!!! I have NEVER been treated this way by any store employee in my life. Zero stars if I could simply because of her attitude.

Im totally disappointed in them! I have been in business with them for a while (not to mention I pay for their wellness plan fee) and when I needed their help the most, they wouldnt hear me out as how concerned I am with my pet health situation! I couldnt agree more with Katy Mims and her situation. Im going through the same scenario! And the worst thing is that i live out of town 45min away and drove to thier location because I was told to do so and he would be seen right away! When arrived, that was not what they did and blamed someone else for their mistakes and misjudgment! I left and came back to my local vet where they took immediate response to my concern! I will be taking my pet there from now on! Did not expect such thing from Bandfield!

First Id like to say that Dr. Stewart is the NICEST vet Ive dealt with in Greenville. The techs and front desk people are also very friendly. However, Ive seen 3 vets at Banfield and overall they havent been able to help me with my situation. I understand that veterinarian is tricky but my dog has only gotten worse and worse after each new visit. He has some kind of allergy and he is prone to eye infections. Ive visited countless times and tried all of their recommendations and he just keeps getting worse. I always leave feeling rushed out and as if they arent listening to what I am trying to tell them. My dog is scratching himself to the point of bleeding, so I am taking my business elsewhere for a second opinion.

Dr. Stewart is without a doubt the best vet Ive ever taken any of my animals to. The staff is always so helpful and the follow up calls after any procedure is a nice touch. It really makes me feel like my pets are values patients. And I absolutely love that theyre open 7 days per week.
