If you care anything about your dog you will not take your dog here. Its my own fault because the first time I bought a hunting dog that was having a hard time breathing to him and he gave him several medications and said he would be better in a few weeks, the second week he was not any better and gave him different medicine, He still was not better, I took him to another vet and he had a collapsed lung and we had to put him down, my poor dog could not breathe for a month before dying....WTH... this time I take my inside dog to him, got Tick medicine called Bravecto paid 48.00 dollars for it and it dont work, I call back up there the rep for Bravecto brings them another one to give to me. My dog takes it and is loaded with ticks. I call back yesterday and they said they dont know why its not working...they also said the tickets are ok to stay on your dog for 24 hours and then they just fall off.....WTH...... so they suggest I get a tick collar from them. I go pick it up and they want to charge me 30.00 and told my husband they already gave me a free pill....WRONG ANSWER.... the rep gave you the pill to give to me and it dont work.... DONT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!!!!!!!!

You definitely get what you pay for. Went to this Vet as he was the closest. My dog was diagnosed with a broken ulna.."broken front leg". Diagnosis was correct! But treatment plan was terrible! Told me to keep my dog crated, quite, and calm. Didnt do anything to the leg. No splint, No wrapping, No pain medication. Even after I get home, I call back. Question if the leg should be splinted or something. He was in so much pain. Dr. Banks said NO. His joint would freeze if splinted. He said my dog was a fool if he wouldnt stay still. My dog was as still as he could be.....considering his pain. He whimpered all night. I consulted with 2 other vets. They both agreed the leg needed to be immobilize, and pain meds given. My fur baby is now feeling better, after seeking another vet. His leg is now in a splint. No they didnt gouge me.. They felt bad for the dog. and having to getting another vet. Thank Goodness they had compassion! If you want CHEAP! then this is the place to go! You get what you pay for...Really what animal or human breaks a bone and you dont immobilized the break, and treat the pain!

unless you are getting meds here cause they are cheaper dont come for anything else. They killed my dog. he was a 4 year old pitbull very healthy. he started having hives for some reason and mister banks, i say mister because he is not much of a doctor, kept going on about cancer. He then became ill and his rear leg became swollen and i brought him back. he had a high fever and they talked me into doing a biopsy on his leg. he said it would be minor surgery but there was a an at least 6 inch cut on his leg closed with 8 staples. my baby did not make it thru the night, he died in my arms. mr banks actually said well the dog was going to die anyways. he is lucky he said that to me on the phone or i probably would have knocked his teeth out. the pathologists report was inconclusive as they said there was to much bacteria to tell if there was cancer. More likely it was an infection. Stay away from this hack. the whole staff lacks compassion.

We started using Tri County about a year ago because of an emergency with our dog. She cut her paw on a Saturday morning and no vet would help her because she needed stitches and they all closed at lunch time and were worried theyd have to stay late to monitor her. All the vets referred me to an emergency vet in Yorktown. I knew that Emergency vet was VERY expensive ($300 to walk in the door usually) so I kept searching. I happened on Tri County and they said to bring her up and thought I was crazy when I asked if they did stitches on Saturday. They stapled her paw, gave her a shot, and gave me two prescriptions and the bill was less than $100 INCLUDING the visit to remove her staples. Very nice people and they arent trying to just make a buck, they care about the animals.

Dr. Banks and his team are amazing. They are reasonably priced and really take care of our Fur Babies. He will often be available for emergency visits. For a small country practice, I am amazed at how quickly X Rays get done and test results get back. Dont let the small building fool you. They get things done. Dr Banks performs surgery too. I love this Vet!

Definantly do not take your animal here for anything serous. My lab had a lump on her gum and the doctor spent no more than 3 minutes with her and told us it was just a growth cause shes old. I took her to a different vet and she has melanoma cancer. You definantly get what you pay for at this vet. No wonder they are so cheap
