Went in for a 2nd opinion today, my dog has yeast overgrowth and we have previously been using banfeild pet hospital (affiliated with PetSmart) in macanicsburg (a drive.. I know) anyway I was so nervous for going somewhere else but 4 months into treatment and nothing was helping.. it was only getting worse.. I wasnt happy about the 50 dollar office visit, but tried to figure if its expensive to be seen.. maybe its worth it and the doctors will know their stuff.. well I was super prepared with prior history and blood work and labs and everything which made it a bit easier for the vet.. turned out my dog wasnt getting the right dosage of medicine along with it wasnt being treated from the inside out.. sooo (unfortunately... $233... and 3 prescriptions later) shes on the right track (fingers crossed) anyway she also did a skin scrape herself while I was in the room.. something the other vet would always take my dog out of the room. So I was pleased with peace of mind that I was there. Also she was so knowledge of what she was talking about and calmed all my nerves.. well all but the money problem. Anyway i am super happy with the doctor visit today. Thank you so much Dr steva l stowell-hardcastle ! See u in about 10 days for a check up!

Great people and great care. They do the health part of healthcare; they conduct themselves effectively and professionally and show great interest in the current, and future, health of your pet. And they do the care part of healthcare; they are comprehensively informative and are committed to providing peace of mind and nurturing your relationship with your pet. Cant ask for more. Caring for a pets healthcare can feel like a financial burden, but, at Companion, it feels like investing in a meaningful relationship. (I have a background in marketing and writing promos. Though it came out like a commercial; I am a real customer and I meant every word! haha)

I have been taking my pets to Companion Animal Hospital for over 30 yrs. & my sincere opinion is they are the very BEST! I would NOT want to take my pet to any other animal hospital. Im so very pleased with them & the employees there are wonderful! They are so warm, compassionate, & loving to all animals that come into the hospital. And, I might add, Paws Inn is also fantastic. Its very clean & very well kept. Im so proud to be able to have my pet go there for her shots & for her surgery. Thank you Companion Animal Hospital to ALL the Drs, & nurses, & employees for being so devoted & loving to their patients.

Great caring staff, called and they didnt really have any open appointments but still took me in when no other vet/hospital would...I was even 25 minutes late from when they asked me to be in, due to traffic but they took me in as soon as I got there and got my dog all taken care of. Also, the dr was very knowledgeable and saved me a lot of money. They even called the following day to check up on my dog, they truly care about animals and will make sure they get the best care possible. Really appreciate this group of people, Im taking my pets to them and them only for now on!

This was the only place I used to bring my animals. They cared, and it showed. In the last few years, this place has changed dramatically, for the worse. Reception is rude, every time, whether over the phone or in person. But the worst change is the way every employee became a salesperson. They dont try to treat your animal, they are just there to make another sale. They misdiagnosed two of my animals in a rush to sell me more products. Ive found another vet that treats my animals with respect and care. I will not be returning to companion.

We have a Bearded Dragon who surprised us with laying eggs, (no male in the house)... and well she became very ill, they saw us within an hour of my call and I am excited to say our Dragon is doing awesome and working back to her normal rambunctious self. Thank you to all who was with us that night and stayed late to get us going and back on track. My heartfelt thank yous!!!!! And my daughters are so thankful as well.

The vets at Companion Animal Hospital are very caring and compassionate. We had been to our old vet 5x with in 4 months for our dog. The Companion vets resolved her issues in just 1 visit. She took her time in evaluating our dog and truly cared about resolving her issues. They followed up in a few days to see how she was doing and ensure that her treatment plan was working. We werent just a number!!

Companion was very very friendly! From the time I came in the door until we left, they were Great!!! I needed an appointment, for my 2 pooches with ear probs, n they fit me in. I was so happy, cause my dogs needed seen asap. They cald next day n asked how pups were doing. The vets were very knowledgeable n kind, n so were the assistants, i highly recommend Companion Animal Hospital! 5 Stars!!!

The doctors and staff at Companion provide excellent care with kindness and compassion for both pets and owners. My blind miniature poodle was there for a few hours today. Since she appeared scared at times the tech found time to take her out of her cage and hold her. I have taken dogs here for over 20 years and they always seem to go above and beyond to ensure that pets are well cared for.

I always refer ppl to your practice~! Love the way I am treated, how my dogs are treated by ALL the staff~! Great job guys keep doing it right~! The knowledge of the vets is awesome~! They have many things most vets dont have, i.e. laser therapy, ICU unit, boarding, grooming. One thing I always tell ppl is this place does not smell like a vets office, it smells like your home~!

Dr. Miller and the entire staff at Companion Animal Hospital were fabulous when our golden retriever Lucy became very ill on a Saturday. They treated her and us with such tender loving care. They explained what was wrong with her and quickly had a treatment plan to help her get better. They are a wonderful group of people. Lucy is doing much better. Thanks to all of you!

Today was a rough visit bringing 2 kids (2 and 9 months) and a high energy dog for Baileys appointment. Every single staff member was so wonderful and accommodating to help us get through the visit. The entire facility was very clean. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and professional. Jeanine was very well cared for, and did not seem to mind being in the office! She is not angry with me either. Dr. McCaffery was AMAZING!!! Thank you so very much for caring for my fur tank! It is very much appreciated!

I had to have my cat, Maurice, of 15 years put down on Friday. I cant say enough about all of the staff. They made the day a lot more tolerable. They were very helpful and kind.
