Dr. Aryal is our hero! Several generations of our pets can credit their excellent care and long lives to Al-Lynn Animal Hospital, where weve been patients for nearly 30 years. Dr. Aryal has taken expert care of our 10 dogs and 1 cat over these many years. Not only the regular everyday things like shots, but he has performed surgery, as needed on many of them. These surgeries included “routine” neutering, teeth cleaning/removals, tumor removals, and even emergency life-saving surgery on one Saturday and Sunday! Every Thanksgiving, we go around our table to give thanks for our blessings, and Dr. Aryal is at the top of our list. I can not imagine a more knowledgeable caring doctor. We have gone from a pack of originally 1 to 2 to 3, then 4 Pedigreed Poodles to now rescuing OLDER (undesired) dogs from some of the worst puppy mills in the East, each having spent years in confined cages. All had serious health issues to deal with and have needed specialized care. Dr. Aryal has never backed down from saving a life. He has never been in a hurry to care for an animal until he knows the whole story, about their health or injury. He is never inclined to prescribe drugs unless really needed, even providing guidance on food therapy to avoid surgeries or complications in the future. He works too hard, he cares too much, but on he goes. Talking to other patients in his waiting room, you realize some come great distances for his services and nominal fees, or are referred by other patients through word of mouth. We dont know what we would do without him. We could NOT rescue dogs, if he were not there also! Our family also has had a long relationship with Veterinary technician Nichole, always willing to listen to our questions/problems on the phone, prepare medicines and prescription food as needed. These are all truly good people. R & J Bochniewicz

The Doctor here has been a staple of the community for the past 25 years. He is not about the money, and is clearly in it for the love of the job. That love shows in his generosity, kindness, and quality of work. I have spent many summers working there, and I do agree some of the current staff can be rude at times. But at the end of the day he loves his community and wants to give these people a chance too, so he is patient with them as well. As far as the worst vet ever post, I am sorry you feel that way. In the times that I have worked there I must have aided in the vaccinations of over 1000 puppies, kittens, and adult small breed canines; and proper protocol when dealing with small animals is extremely key to this Vet. It is something he taught me to educate the clients on the first day I worked there, so I could describe what their vaccination scheme would be, and why it would be broken down into more visits if the dog is small or young. If you so happened to MISS his medical observation of ur dogs health prior to it being vaccinated, its because he has been doing this for decades and is lightning fast. It seems your dog did fine, so I'm not understanding the motivation behind your assessment. In any animal there is a risk of a reaction to medication or vaccinations, which is why in all cases we ask the owner to stay in the office 15 to 30 mins after vaccination, for observation before being discharged. Dr. A is a gem. Simple and plain.

I dont know anything about the doctor who works here.. this review is about the staff: I recently called this office/clinic because I was/am looking for a vet for my two 4-year old dogs. I found their clinic from the Pet Assure website and called to inquire about a couple of things, including prices of exams, dental cleaning (as one of my dogs has dental disease), and whether they accepted Pet Assure (since they ARE listed on their site). The woman who answered the phone was quite rude; answering my questions curtly, as if I was bothering her. When I asked her about whether they accepted Pet Assure, her tone went from rude to suspicious and accusing. It seemed as if she thought I was a marketer who was cold calling her. She proceeded to tell me that their phone lines were tapped, and muttered something about "advertising". I was pretty surprised at the manner in which this phone call was going, and I told her "I do not know what you are referring to." She muttered something again, and basically hung up on me. Suffice it to say, based on this phone conversation, I will NOT be bringing my dogs to this office. Despite the positive reviews this place has, the type of blatant disregard for customer service that I encountered has left me seriously doubting their ability to properly care for my dogs. They just lost a potential customer.

Dr Aryal is the Man!!! I have been taking my dogs to him since the 80s. He is like that old dentist from The Cosby Show. He maybe old but no one is better in the area. He been doing this in the states since 75 so he dont need all the fancy toys to do the job. I bought my daughter a Tea Cup Chihuahua last year and he handled the vaccines for him with no issues. As far as splitting them up that depends on the dogs health and really is all up to the Vet. And Dr Aryal can look at a dog and tell if he is healthy enough to handle the vaccines. A lot of Vets tell you that so they can get you to pay for more then one office visit. I just took a new puppy to him last week and everything went great!!!!!!

I used to work at the Al-Lynn Animal hospital. When Doctor Aryal first arrived into the area. Many moons ago, when I lived on Andrews AFB and my surname was Skinner back then. Doctor Aryal was a great boss and a fantastic vet. I worked very closely with him, in surgery and in the examination room. I have since moved back to my home town in the UK. But I often think about the clinic. Doctor Aryal is a caring and considerate veterinary surgeon, with a human touch. I would rate him as five stars. If I were to return to Maryland, I would use the Al-Lynn hospital without hesitation. Say hi to him from me, when you are next in there.

I couldnt believe "the worst vet ever" review was describing the same beloved, competent and caring Dr. Aryal I have taken my dogs to for over 25 years. Though the hospital is not fancy or "state of the art" as the reviewer described one place , the care given the animals is! Furthermore, Dr. Aryal knows his veteranarian medicine and is not in business to take every test and medical procedure known to man in order to drive up the bill, as some vets do. He does well whatever is necessary to keep ones pets healthy and has a way with animals that seems to quell their fears.

I have been going to Al-Lynn Animal Hospital for over 11 years now. I am very happy with Dr. Aryals service. He has taken excellent care of my dog. I would never go any where else. Dr. Aryal always goes that extra mile to take care of your pet. He takes the time to explain everything. Dr. Aryal really cares about your pet and takes pride in his work. If you are looking for a vet I can only recommend the best and that is Dr. Aryal. Your pet will thank you. I would like to take this time a to say thank you Dr. Aryal for everything.
