Thanksgiving 2014 marked the beginning of my journey with Dr. Williamson. My family and I took a car trip to Maryland to visit my brother for the holiday. Upon arrival, I got out of the car and noticed that my legs felt really funny. The entire weekend, I had a severe pain in my left arm and top of my back, but I didn’t want to spoil the holiday for family, so I started taking Aleve to help ease the pain. When we returned home, the pain was so bad that I went to see my primary care doctor. He took x-rays, diagnosed my illness as a pinched nerve, and prescribed medication. On the days that followed, I took the prescribed medication and tried to rest, but I still didn’t feel well. On Dec. 4, 2014, my husband called my aunt and told her that he thought I should see a specialist. My husband said that one of his co-workers is a patient of Dr. Dana Williamson, a chiropractor in Mechanicsville, VA, and she suggested that I give him a try. I called Dr. Williamson’s office to set up an appointment. His assistant, Bailey, was very professional and asked me to come in at 10:40AM on the same day. When I arrived, Bailey assisted me with filling out the paperwork, checked my vitals, and told me what to expect. Shortly afterwards, Dr. Will came in and introduced himself. He did e-xrays on my neck and arm to try to confirm what was causing my pain. Dr. Will was also very professional, and seemed to sincerely care about trying to remedy my dilemma. He asked to see me again on Dec. 8th to discuss the results of the x-rays and to determine if he can treat my illness. When I arrived on Dec. 8th, Bailey asked me to view a video about the benefits of spinal manipulation before Dr. Will explained the x-rays and how I would benefit from chiropractic treatment. I really appreciate his patience to make sure that I understood the process. After addressing my questions, the treatment began and I was given instructions on how to further help the healing process at home. He also recommended that I take Pro-Enz (a natural dietary supplement) five minutes before each meal; use Biofreeze while I’m at work to help ease the pain; and work on trying to lose weight. Since visiting Dr. Will, I have noticed that the numbness in my legs is completely gone and my walking has improved. I highly recommend Dr. Will to anyone who has unbearable pain! Sherri Bagley

Chiropractic Care has been the most direct and effective treatment to improve my overall quality of life benefiting both my mind and body. Over time, injuries from over 20 years ago led to a point where my neck and back were so much out of sync my neck would lock up frequently. My prior primary care physician prescribed “treatment” from a pad which did nothing to improve or correct my neck and back issues but just masked some of the pain. Since my treatments began with Dr. Will my body has benefitted by regaining full mobility allowing for heavy exercise and strenuous activity with no setbacks. My mind has benefited since becoming a patient as I am no longer distracted by nagging pains. This did not happen overnight but you don’t rotate your tires or get a tune up on your vehicle just once, right? You have to have proper maintenance to keep active and maintain a high quality of life no matter if you are 35 or 75. Thank you Dr. Will for all you do.

I was referred to Dr. Will by a friend who said Dr. Will was the best Chiropractor hed ever been to. Dr. Will and his team, who all know and greet me by name, have made such a difference in how I feel. I came in with constant moderate to severe back pain that interfered with my daily ability to function and also prevented sleep at night. I have improved so much, thanks to Dr. Will. Not only has the pain gone away, I can feel a difference in how my back functions and moves. I feel stronger and more flexible now. Dr. Will has helped me so much and it is a pleasure to go into the office where they greet me cheerfully and see me as a person, not just another client. Its nice to be around people who enjoy what they do. Im sure its because they know they are really helping people.

I visited Dr. Will not for a injury or a nagging pain, but just for a overall wellness visit. I had never had chiropractic work done, but have always been extremely active and knew that I could probably benefit from some work. Dr. Will has been a pleasure visiting for my chiropractic work. His staff is professional and friendly always greeting you by name and making you feel comfortable. Dr. Will does a fantastic job in not only tell you what he will do, but why. Explaining everything along the way and allowing you to make your own choices. After just a few visits, I am feeling much more balanced and have much less tension. I cant wait to see how well it becomes with consistent future visits!

recently recieved from the mechanicsville office. at first, like anyone whose first visit was in to see any type of doctor. not really knowing what to expect, I had my fears of what I may learn about the lack of care that Ive given to my body. During my treat- ments, I found that the one person that Ive been ducking all of these years, truly is the guy that I should of been seeing all along. now, that weve finished our sessions, Im feeling alot better in my back, neck, shoulder, along with my legs generating more ener- gy for me to move about. for this doctor, my many thanks goes out to you & your won- derful nurse for being patient & understanding with me. much success to you. thanks sincerely

I met Dr. Will over a year ago when I had reinjured my back after having lumber laminectomy surgery. After seeing him for about a month, I had no pain, and my disc had healed completely. I am currently seeing him after reinjuring the same disc after slipping on a wet floor. Im glad to know that hes right around the corner whenever Im having issues. He and his staff are very friendly, and I always feel welcome there. I look forward to the way I feel after Dr. Will has given me an adjustment on the table. He gives great recommendations for supplements and lifestyle changes to help facilitate healing. I would highly recommend Dr. Will!

I went to see Dr. Will after I reinjured myself. Id seen another local chiropractor last year, but he always ran late and I felt like I was a product on an assembly line. Dr. Will and his team have always seen me at my appointment time and they often take me early if I arrive before my appointment time. They also take time to get to know you and what you have going on in your life. Dr. Wills treatment plan is fantastic. Not only does he help you feel better, but he gives you the tools to help yourself. Hes encouraging and concerned, but not nagging about your progress and what you do to help yourself.

Dr Will does a very good job and pinpointing where the problem areas are and as time goes on adjust the treatment to what part of the spine is needing to be realigned. The office is very good about working you in when you are having a flare up with pain. I have been a patient since summer of 2013 and am at the point in treatment where only maintenance is needed for an occassional flare-up. The practice also is very good at looking at overall health of the patient which does have an impact on the spine. My overall health has been a lot better since beginning chiropratic treatment.
