I have been going here for years. My trouble started last year when I was given another persons medical record (stapled to mine). I thought I was doing the right thing by telling the front office and the doctor, but since then things have gone downhill for me. I have been going to TPMG for 12 years. A few months ago, they filled the incorrect dose of a medication that is highly controlled. I was a little upset, as it was for an issue with ADHD, and I work in a very detail oriented position in vaccine research in Richmond. This meant I had to leave my job a second time, pay for a Rx a second time to get the correct dose. Then I found out the doctor did not even know about the incident until I brought it up. Last month I tried to have my birth control filled and an antibiotic was filled instead (really???). I have also been given a script for a pain killer by mistake, which I did not know was in the stack I brought to the pharmacy until they called me up to talk about it. I explained that was something I took 5 years ago, and that I did not actually need or want it. Today they told me they would not write my Rx that I have been on for 9 years due to my anxiety level (I had a work issue and a car accident, but I guess car accidents and staph are not a cause for anxiety) unless I saw the doctor on Tuesday (I already had an appointment scheduled for Friday). I am thankfully not out of my medication yet (so writing the script would not have mattered, I was just in town from an hour away today and it would have been more convenient than being charged to see the doctor twice in a week, and missing work more than once this week). I have never been more disappointed in this place than I was today. If you want a primary care physician that actually cares about you and not your money, go somewhere else. This office is full of people that treat you like garbage over the phone and in person they gossip and giggle like high school girls. Nurses make mistakes with printing the wrong medications and never tell the doctor, who doesnt remember he signed a schedule 2 drug for you already once in the week. I will be contacting the AMA about my poor experiences here. I guess everything is good unless you point out that they made a mistake, or five.

DO NOT GO HERE! I had been with practice for 7 or 8 years and as of today I will never go back. They are rude and condescending to you on the phone which I have tried to overlook but today I literally had it. They make mistakes constantly and are extremely unpleasant when you point those mistakes out. They hang up on you without cause. You can simply be asking a question about your medication and they treat you like an inconvenience. The doctor himself was absolutely horrible today simply because I questioned a new program he is doing regarding prescriptions and I did not want to do it and I was given zero notice about. They care nothing for you or your concerns. If you want quality patient care then go somewhere else because this place is the the absolute worst!!

I have always had a good experience with my Dr. (Keith Taylor, MD). He has always listened to everything I say and gives excellent feedback with solutions or how to get them. What is very important is that he listens.Dr. Taylor, my husband and I have also had conversations other than medical. He treats us like people NOT money. I usually get the same person on the phone when I call the office (Kathleen). After we get finished with my buisness information we will usually find something to make each other laugh or relate too.

After years of searching for a doctor who was as wonderful as my previous, I stumbled upon Dr. Hiotellis. He is very caring, genuine, takes the extra time with you, is very thorough and so easy to get in touch with. Now, my whole family sees him and we couldnt be happier and healthier:) God truly blessed us with him!
