Dr. Woerner is the vet you have been looking for. I spent years taking our pets to veterinarians who proclaim they are the "neighborhood vet" taking care of your pets needs. What I was really receiving is over priced services, and unthought out remedies for what my pets were experiencing. By chance i found Dr. Woerner and Tally Oaks when my pup was presenting what seemed to be back issues. Dr. Woerner always took a practical, and knowledgeable approach to treating my dogs. She also assisted me when it was apparent my dog was in a dire state. She helped me navigate the overwhelming task of finding him a neurosurgeon, and assisted me with my questions post surgery. She really negated any concerns I had and helped me through the process with calmness and professional knowledge. I couldnt have been more grateful. As an example of her practical approach, post surgery my dog has experienced elevated sensitivities to his environment. He has become allergic to over twenty common everyday allergy inducing particles. With Dr. Woerners help we walked through potential resolutions. We ultimately utilized cytopoint and the response by him has been phenomenal. He is no longer red, itchy, and constantly chewing on his paws. Without her constant research, and application of current remedies for what pets are experiencing im not positive i would have found relief for my dog. Dr. Woerner listens, and she cares about her clients. I will use her until she decides to no longer practice. I drive 45 minutes to visit her with my pets, its worth every minute of it to know the care my pets will be receiving. Highly recommended.

My wife and I were pointed to Dr. Woerner a couple of years ago when we got our dog, Maile. We knew we had picked the right place when she didnt complain about going to the vet. Maile loves Dr Woerner and Kaitlin! We have had nothing but positive experiences with them for two years, and this weekend it got better. Both of our cars were destroyed in a major accident on the interstate and while my wife was unconscious, the doors were opened and Maile escaped. After my wife got released from the hospital, we kept searching to no avail. My wife called Dr. Woerner to try to figure out any way to find the puppy, and not only did Dr. Woerner get the word out to local animal shelters and make fliers to put around town, she drove to Fredericksburg, two hours away! Dr. Woerner and Kaitlin and one of her friends (I wish I could remember her name, but I had just been in an accident) all came down and spent hours searching the area to find our dog. We finally found her and she is doing great! We cant thank Dr. Woerner enough and we have told this story to a few of our friends already and they all cant believe our vet would do all of this for us. It really feels like when you are a patient (or rather, when your pet is her patient), youre one of her own. My wife and I cannot recommend Tally Oaks any higher. Thanks Dr. Woerner!

We love Tally Oaks and Dr Woerner. About 4 years ago, Tally Oaks and Doctor Woerner enticed us with a teeth cleaning sale. We brought both of our small dogs for a teeth cleaning and based on that experience we changed vets for our dogs care....despite the distance to Tally Oaks as we live in Fairfax County. Brought our very ill 15 year old cat about one year ago (the cat despises traveling in a car) thinking it might be the end of the road for her and Dr Woerner spent about 20-30 minutes examining/diagnosing and am happy to report the cat is “strong like bull”. A Tally Oaks appointment is unlike your typical vet visit. Never a wait, the care is unrushed and thorough, Your questions are welcome and you are welcome to be present throughout the visit. Absolutely phenomenal experience. Both caring and professional, Dr. Woerner has earned my trust and respect as the best veterinarian in the area. I have tried several other vets after moving to Northern Virginia six years ago and I have spent a fortune on unnecessary or inconclusive tests often with no results and in a few cases the worst possible outcome. Thankfully I found Tally Oaks! Dr. Woerner’s ability to quickly evaluate the symptoms, and to know exactly what to do to solve the problem, while educating me along the way has been unmatched in my experience. On top of her extensive knowledge she has always been there when we needed her, which with all the pets we have is asking a lot! I highly recommend Tally Oaks.

Dr. Woerner is the best! She saw me with no notice on a Saturday and gave my elderly dog antibiotics to get him through the weekend until she could determine what was wrong with him at our appointment on Monday. She is knowledgeable, thorough, caring, personable, explains everything in great detail and makes you feel like you are her only client! Doesnt rush, asks questions to get to know your pet, and is willing to discuss everything about your pet. It is a true blessing to have a wonderful vet like her right around the corner from my home! Tigger loves Dr. Woerner and is on his way to health again! I look forward to her treating all of our pets!

We love Dr. Woerner and her staff! She is compassionate and very knowledgable. She will always do what is best for the animals! We started doing laser treatments after our dog had TPLO surgery, and the treatments really help in recovery. I brought her in one day after she had overused one of her muscles and a few hours after the treatment she was feeling almost at 100% and was back to being herself! Our dog needs TPLO on her other knee and I cant wait to bring her back for more treatments!

I have had several fantastic experiences with Dr. Woerner at TOVS. It is great to take your pet to a vet office who already knows you and your pet - not a revolving door of vets like many other vet practices in LoCo. She very through, very knowledgeable, does additional research if necessary, doesnt rush through appointments, and isnt just searching for a quick fix but long term solutions. She follows up via email and text regularly. I couldnt be happier with Dr. Woerner and TOVS.

Dear Tally Oaks, We cant thank you Dr. Tania Woerner and her caring staff enough for caring for our pets and the pets of our friends. Having the option of you coming to our farm or to the homes of our friends helps to make veterinary care less stressful for both the pet and the owner. We will continue to refer you to all of our friends and to anyone needing a local vet. Wishing you the very best in 2016! Sincerely, Maggie & Rob Johnston Fox Box Farm Middleburg, VA

We have worked with Dr. Woerner for 10 years now for our horses and our dogs & cats. We can always count on her in an emergency and also for routine care for our 4 horses, 2 dogs and barn cats. Her ability to utilize traditional medicine along with acupuncture has given us a wide range of solutions. We highly recommend her (and our horses agree)

I take all four of my pets here (from a large Labrador to a very small Siamese cat).. Dr, Woerner and her assistant Caitlin at Tally Oaks are both knowledgeable and professional. There is no waiting in an office like other offices. When you show up at your appointment time, they are ready to start. I would recommend this veterinary practice.
