We took our small dog there after an accident on the farm - she got hit by one of the horses after they spooked and ran... she could not get out of the way quick enough. I called immediately and in a panic we headed there. The team was there waiting and rushed her right in and was treated. It was decided to keep her overnight and they called with updates at 9pm and again early in the morning. We went there the next day expecting the worse, but to our amazement she was doing well. The doctor and staff took their time to explain what their thoughts were and prognosis. It was a joint decision to let her go home with us monitoring her and instructions on what and what not to do. 24 hours later our 4-legged family member is doing great. She is still a bit tired and out of it but a major improvement since taking her there. The doctor and staff were EXTREMELY comforting and knowing she was in good hands allowed us to relax just a bit. I cannot thank them, and recommend them enough in case your pet is in need of an emergency vet. Over our years we have been to a few 24 hour vet emergency clinics and this facility is immaculate, extremely clean and comfortable during a stressful time. The staff is amazing and this is a top a notch facility.

Wonderful experience considering the circumstances. Emergency vet visits are normally so stressful and outrageously expensive. Our pup was seen in a timely manner, given a thorough assessment, and then we were provided with a complete breakdown of the costs to move forward with treatment. The staff was incredibly friendly and communicative every step of the way. The facilities were large, clean, and the waiting room was stocked with drinks and up to date magazines to browse through while our dog was in surgery. Once he was out, we received detailed written instructions for at home care and could ask questions without feeling rushed out. After having a horrible experience at a Fairfax emerg vet in the past that completely overcharged us and wouldnt even take a credit card, this was a 100% total opposite experience. Hopefully will not have to require their services again but if I do, I know my pup and I will be well taken care of.

We took our 10 year old chocolate lab in to Artemis after he passed out multiple times after being to a different veterinarian and being dosed with pain medication that he had never had. The staff was amazing, extremely fast in their response and attentive to our dog and whole family. The veterinarian sat on the floor with us and our dog to explain everything they were doing and going to do, and then to give us test results. The girl at the front desk brought our dog water in a very clean dish, and the nurses brought him a bed and our family drinks. The facility is beautiful and looks new and is spotless. The rooms are very big and comfortable. After they fixed up our pup, we were on our way and very happy with our experience here. I definitely recommend Artemis if your pet needs Emergency care!

We recently needed emergency care for one of our Cavaliers and, upon the recommendation of several families in our neighborhood, we went to Artemis VESS in Gainesville. They were quick to help relieve her symptoms and were very cognizant of how we were feeling as well. When we left her later in the night, we felt she was really receiving personal care. She got progressively worse but, even though we have a DNR for her, the vet called once she realized she wasnt going to make it so we could try to be there. We didnt make it, but the staff was so very understanding and gentle with us in our time of grief, that we really appreciated it. We would highly recommend this hospital and staff to those of you with fur babies!! They love animals as much as we do!

If you are reading this review then it is probably reasonable to assume that you have a family pet that is in need of immediate medical attention. I found myself in that same situation when my 18 year old cat had a stroke on Easter Sunday and need to be seen immediately. There were 3 options in Manassas that were open for emergencies and Artemis was one of them. Boy am I glad I picked them to handle my situation. I cant express enough how professional, compassionate, and capable they were in dealing with my situation. I could go on and on, but suffice to say, if you are in need of emergency medical care for your pet, dont hesitate.....just go....and you wont be disappointed.

Do not take your family pet here! We waited for hours for them to try to charge us over $3000 for something we got done at our regular vet for 1/3 of that price. They did not give me warm fuzzies when we came in and it got worse after sitting there for over 2 hours with no answers. After we balked at the amount, they offered to rework it. Why would you charge someone more than you have to when they are already upset and in a stressful situation? This was outrageous and totally abusive!!! Pick anywhere but here.

Our cat hadnt eaten or pooped in 3 days and we couldnt get an appointment with our regular vet for another week, so we found Artimus Emergency Vet online and gave them a call. They suggested we bring her in. They ran tests and were able to find the problem, which was a bladder infection, and treat it right away. They were extremely helpful and very thorough. I wish we would have found them sooner! The staff is excellent and caring. If you have any pet emergency, definitely call Artimus!

Artemis provided excellence care to my Bichon. Nurse Rachel and Dr. Martin were extremely kind and loving to my little pup who had an allergic reaction to something. Beverages were offered while waited to be seen by the Dr. They saw us immediately and treated him within 15 mins of our arrival. The establishment was absolutely beautiful and the hospitality was extremely welcoming. I will definitely recommend this emergency vet to others!

The staff was friendly and professional, and provided excellent care for my dog. She could not walk well when we got there and we were met outside by two staff members offering to help get her inside. She received excellent care during her overnight stay and her visit was well documented and sent to our primary veterinarian. Large and very nice facility with a great staff.

Took my dog tonight because she was having a reaction to something on her face. My dog is not good around other animals and they were VERY accommodating. Quick service, great customer service!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
