They sucked! The vet was a nice lady but the tech and the receptionist were rude! And they only give liquid form antibiotic instead of a pill for my cat. The vet said would you like pill or liquid leaves and the tech comes in with liquid I asked about the pill she said they dont carry pills for cats because its harder to give to them!!! The vet said the pill was easier because liquid they drool and foam at the mouth from the taste. I know from experience the pill is easier. Than when I asked about the pill the tech lied and said every clinic I work at doesnt carry the pill I told her I just took my other cat to princess Ann vet clinic and they gave me the pill a week ago!!!!! Than they tell you one price and its something else and the receptionist said be careful I will charge you more!!! Super rude if you have a business you should be able to offer pill or liquid and good customer service!!!!

We love this practice. We have used others in the area and we were looking for a new vet and they were recommended to us. Unlike the other reviewer we have found them EXTREMELY caring. In fact I sent a friend to them who had picked up an ill stray and they could not have been any more compassionate with her and that dog including cutting her a break on costs. I have called with an emergency on a Saturday morning and they took us immediately and even told those ahead of us, that Ginger would be a priority since she was bleeding. Would recommend those who had a problem to call them back and see if you can resolve the issue.

I have been going to this animal hospital for over 7 years now and not once have they been rude to me and at times some of my animals needed tests that I was not sure if I could afford but they told me the price ahead of time which is great and they have took such great pride and care for my two dogs and cats and other pets I had. I would never even think of going anywhere else and everyone that works here are the most caring people I have every know. All I can say is thank you for always been there for my pets and I will continue to go here. I am so happy to have found this animal hospital. You are the best!!!!!

AWFUL! ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! I RUSHED my VERY SICK cat here to make sure I arrived before they closed. I arrived at 5:55 and was talking to the vet at 5:57, her first comment, "Were closed" I said its not 6 yet. Her next comment, "I already told my staff they could go home." I didnt realize that a vet needed her reception staff to take a look at a very visibly sick cat. He has a fever of 103.9 and she couldnt bother with him because it was ALMOST her time to be off. It is safe to say that I will NEVER return here with any of my 5 animals. Absolutely deplorable behavior for a vet.

A friend of mine came in there with her dog today and the receptionist, we think her name was Marjorie, asked my not pregnant friend if she was pregnant. When my friend said "no," the receptionist replied "oh must be a beer belly". I cannot put into words how absolutely rude this is. My friend was holding back tears when she left, so she didnt say anything. But Im saying something so the employer knows what kind of customer service their staff gives their customers. Totally unprofessional and just plain mean.

Heart to Heart Rescue

We started taking our rescue dogs there and just had a pup break with parvo in Williamsburg called this vet to see if they have the meds (since the vet there has ran out) and the support staff is so rude, inconsiderate and down right dont care about animals. We would have had the other vet call to verify the need for the meds but couldnt even get that far. Needless to say our rescue will not be making them our regular vet at all and will let everyone know how they treat people.

I called yesterday with some questions and the receptionist was exceptionally rude. I decided to go in today anyway and the staff that I met in person there were excellent. The woman who greeted me when I walked in was very pleasant. Im glad that I decided to go in anyway and will continue taking my pet there throughout her life. Hopefully I never run in to the person I talked to on the phone, though.

I have been taking my two dogs to Spotsylvania Animal Hospital for close to a decade and would never consider going anywhere else. The staff is friendly and helpful. My dogs, one of which is a rescue, are spoiled beyond belief yet the doctors are able to work with them when no one else can (two groomers now refuse to). Indeed, I even board my dogs there. I highly recommend them.

Rudest people Ive ever met. I took my dog in for kennel cough and paid $46 for a wellness check/ office visit just to have the vet to walk in hear him cough and say "yep he has it" and walk out. Never once touched him. I got my files and will be finding a new place that at least will act like they care about my dog.
