After an initial first visit to the vetXpress in Colonial Heights, we were impressed with the courtesy of the staff and the seemingly genuine care for our dog. However, when I called back the following week with a concern about my dogs health, the lady who answered the phone (she said her name was Maria) was extremely rude, belligerent, condescending and obnoxious. She refused to transfer me to someone who could help me and actually mocked me. When I told her that, as a new client who just spent $200 at her clinic, I didnt appreciate her lack of customer service. She then offered to "call the owner herself" and arrange a speaker-phone conference where she could argue her case. Total lack of professionalism. I honestly cannot believe that this woman keeps her job, and needless to say, I will not ever be taking my puppy back to vetXpress. There are too many quality vets in the area to be verbally abused by the "customer service" rep at this sham of a vet clinic.

I was unhappy with my current vet so a co-worker referred me to Dr. Ereio. I have a German Sheppard with seizures and I was looking fer a new vet that would take their time and help get his seizures under control. I was very impressed with not only with both front desk lady (cant remember her name-Short Pump location) and Dr. Ereio but with the whole vibe of the clinic. They both were very friendly. They made me feel that we matter and we were not just a number. I appreciated the time they spent and did not make me feel like I had to hurry up and rush through my appointment. I have another dog as well and we will defiantly be returning with all of our vet needs for both dogs! I had a great experience and I am glad that I was referred to this clinic!

Living out of state and having numerous vets brought me to this one in my hometown. My Pit boxer absolutely hates vets and is terrified every time we go to her other ones but the first visit here and she fell in love with Dr. E. He genuinely cared about her and her well being and was the first vet that was very open and reasonable with their prices. I would 100% recommend them to anyone else because of how they treated my pup and me. Every time she would get her shots she would fight and scream but didnt even notice with him. I now drive 10 hrs back every few months just to set and appointment with him.

We were visiting Richmond for the weekend and our dog needed the vet. We picked this one on the basis of positive reviews. One of the reviews was from someone in similar circumstances who now claim to drive 10 hours to have their dog treated here as needed. We had a good laugh over that one. Joke was on us. After the visit, weve been talking about doing the same thing (were only 3 hours away). This guy is uniquely awesome. It hard to explain. Dog whisperer? People whisperer? Both? Whatever it is, it worked for our family.

I recently had to make an appointment to put my dog down. Dr. E was absolutely amazing during the entire visit. After arriving and getting into an exam room, I realized she wasnt going to make it much longer. He respected my wishes and allowed her to pass on her own. He didnt even charge me for the few minutes he spent checking her heart. I will be forever thankful for the respect he showed to me and my dog during this trying time.

As a first time (solo) dog owner, vetXpress has been a wonderful place to bring my dog. Their prices are great and they have been so helpful. They even managed to squeeze us in on a very busy Saturday to help calm my crazy new dog mom nerves! Dr. E is awesome and very forthcoming about pricing and what does and doesnt need to be done. Ill be sending everyone I know here whos looking for a vet.

I just love Dr. Eiorio, he is sensible, compassionate, interesting, and knowledgeable! The small practice is in a good location, they offer just the right amount of services and products, they have good hours, except they are closed Tuesdays, but everyone needs a day off every now and then, right, lol? Friendly staff at front desk. I would recommend this vet hospital to anyone in the area.

I love this vet. I took two of my three babies in for vaccinations. Dr. Ereio was very kind and took time to answer my questions. He wasnt judgmental when I told him I feed a raw/home cooked diet--he even recommended a website where I can get supplements to add to the homemade food. The entire practice made me feel welcome. I"m happy to say we found a new vet "home."

Dr. E is the best! Hes genuinely interested in the health and happiness of my cats and recommends treatments without laying on the guilt or pressure. His sense of humor is the icing on the cake. Ive taken my two chihuahuas there a few times. I love the staff. Everyone is so friendly and very caring of my furry babies. The exams are thorough, and they dont recommend unnecessary procedures. Also the prices are very reasonable. I now live an hour away but still take my babies to them.
