I have only seen Dr. Bowers once and have avoided going back. Very terrible bedside manner. You feel rushed and not a priority. I explained to the receptionist when making the appointment all the items I wanted to be seen for and yet Dr. Bowers would only let me talk to one of them. Additionally, when I showed up I had an urgent need to go to the ladies room and I was NOT permitted to go. I had my legs crossed and they continued to say "no, the doctor will be right with you" I must be fair to the situation and I was 5 minutes late to my appointment but I still dont think that is cause to say I was not allowed to use the ladies room. Particularly because I had to wait for Dr. Bowers for another 5-10 mins or so. He then had his assistant apologize for the treatment I received in the office. Not happy about this doctor but I am going to give it one more try today and will post an update. Whats sad is I explained why I switched doctors to the receptionist (not feeling like a priority and misdiagnosis) and yet this was even worse. Cheers to second chances... lets hope today proves my first impression wrong! :) UPDATE: Just made my appointment for this afternoon.... I have three things I want to discuss and the receptionist tells me the Dr. will decide what he will see me for due to billing purposes. My response was well what if its all related? Her response, its up to the Dr. what he will discuss/diagnosis. This is insane. Ill pay for 2 visits if I can get my leg and foot looked at in the same visit and a referral to neck specialist. **Wishing I had another Dr on the back burner I could go to... UPDATE: Dr Bowers was surprisingly amazing! Complete 180 from the last visit. He was thorough, attentive, compassionate, and really helped me out. I did not feel rushed or that he had other things on his mind. Perhaps the first round was just a fluke. I have changed my rating to read Good as opposed to Poor which it had been previously.

Ill give two stars because the nurse was very professional and friendly and Im not sure if the Doctor was just having a bad day. To make a long story short, Im in the waiting room and the nurse comes up and calls my name while I was still in the process of providing the front desk with my insurance information and was trying to get a hold of my wife because I had forgotten my insurance card at home. The front desk said to just go back with the nurse and that we could take care of it after the appointment was finished. So I go back with the nurse and she does the routine height, weight, heart rate, etc checks and asks her questions. She leaves and the doctor comes in after a few minutes and the first thing he says isnt good morning or hello. Instead, he says with a stern voice while looking at the paperwork hes holding "DO YOU EVEN HAVE INSURANCE?". I said yes and explained what happened and that Id be providing the information to the front desk after the appointment was done. Then he says, "NO, youll have to pay yourself today and then ask your insurance to reimburse you later, you should have that ready before seeing me". Then he said "What time did you make it here?". I said "8:32". He said, "your appointment was for 8:30, which means you should be here by 8:20" and then he goes on lecturing about being more prepared and finally, I ask if is it ok to reschedule and he says yes. So I left and rescheduled for another date with the front desk. When the front desk asked "Would you like to see the same doctor again?". I said "No". Now, I dont know the Doctor, this was my first time meeting him. He might be a great doctor with a very strict policy on punctuality, I dont know, but the bottom line is that there are much friendlier doctors out there.

Dr Bowers has been my Primary Care Provider for the last 8 years. I have found him to be conscientious and focused on the health and well-being of his patients. Dr Bowers is very bright; he processes information quickly and maximizes the time he gets to spend with each patient by asking many questions. Some may not like that approach, but it makes me feel that he is trying to understand as much as he can about the problem before making a diagnosis and prescribing. He is friendly and compassionate, but has given me tough advice when I needed to hear it as well. Some may not like that approach either, but he was willing to risk losing me as a patient to give me the hard truth about what I was doing wrong and encourage my avid, daily participation in my health and wellbeing. I think that anyone who is looking for a long-term care provider who will actually read their medical record, remember their history, and take a holistic approach to providing responsible treatment and ensuring their overall health would be lucky to find him.

Avoid this doctor. In my experience, he has the worst bedside manner of any doctor Ive ever had. I had a really bad case of tonsillitis. It was my second visit to a physician that day. He prescribed me something to gargle with. I went home, gargled, cried, then went back to get help. He was rude, uncompassionate and refused to give me anything for the pain until I asked for my real doctor. I even asked if I should go to the emergency room out of desperation for help-- something I eventually did. I almost died from my infection, and as I was leaving, he sneared at me as he tossed me my prescription, "I dont want to see you for at least four days." To which I replied, "If I live that long." This man shouldnt be practicing medicine.

After waiting for 30 min in the reception area I was told that since I`m late for 20 min for an appointment Dr. Bowers will not see me and I should come some other day. I was late for 20 min for my appointment because of Dr.Bowers "responsible " assistant who didn`t care to inform me about their new office location. I was fasting 10 hours for my annual chek up but again they just don`t care if you were drinking this feaking water for so many hours just to get this check up done!!! No customer service, these two women at the reception area were very rude, very disspointing! Bower is disappointing with his uneducated and bad manners team!!! Overall dissapointing and frustrating, will never ever go back to that place.

I have used Dr Bowers for years and I havent had any problems with him. He took the time to discuss with me what was going on, very knowledgeable and friendly. My wife went with me on my last appointment and was impressed with him as well. I would agree with one review that at times after being called back you have to wait what seems like a long time, but I have yet to go to any doctors office and not have to wait for one reason or another.

If I could give this Dr a half star or no stars I would. Worst experience ever with a Dr. I dont think he made eye contact with me or spent more than 15 seconds listening to my reason for the visit. I am so disgusted and upset I am going to leave this practice completely. Ended up leaving this office visit and driving to Urgent care where that Dr spent some time actually listening to me and explaining the possible causes of my Vertigo.
