Dr mehra office wait was 2 hours in the reception and one hour wait after called in. It is true that he comes with an assitant and talks to him mostly about the patient. He was very impatient to answer questions. After the long wait he saw my husband and me together for seven minutes. And Even during that time he was talking to his assistant and telling him what to enter in his computer . Not even coming closer to the patient or checking the patient current condition. Wonder how much he billed the insurance for two patients for 7 minutes of his time. Now he has all businesses including a lab. They draw the blood and never call the patient to tell the results are ready. After 10 days when the patient calls it always go to answering machine. Emails were ignored which are sent to request him to forward the test results. I wonder if he cares for patient health at all. This was the worst doctors office that I ever visited.

I DO NOT recommend this doctor to anyone. My experience at this doctors office was infuriating. Despite scheduling an appointment, I waited an hour in the waiting room and an additional 20 minutes in the exam room. The doctor was rushed, spoke mostly to his assistant in medical-lingo and only seemed to explain things to me as an after-thought. None of the staff were friendly. The office staff were just this side of rude. After my appointment, they asked ME how much I owed for a co-pay. Isnt billing their responsibility? When I said I dont pay co-pays with my insurance (a true fact), they asked me to sit in the waiting room for an additional 15 minutes while they called to verify with my insurance. Total, I spent more than 2 hours in this office for what ended up being a 5 minute appointment. I will never use this doctor again, not even for urgent care.

Denied my spouse for a school physical and immunization. Stated she was "too old" [she is a 38yr old Ph.D candidate] and this is required by the university. They are a preferred provider per my PPO. Dr. Mehra refused. Demanded cash. I filed a discriminatory age complaint with the Commonwealth of VA Dept of Health Complaint Unit. I was told that this is basis enough for discrimination. UHC, the PPO provider stated they do not have an "age" limit and they also agreed that this was a problem. Dr. Mehra demanded $500 / cash. He then demand a $25 copay for the office visit (for which he said he wasnt filing with UHC) so you can add insurance fraud to that as well. Avoid at all cost. Shady. Criminal.

Horrible, and it goes back to zocdoc, I submitted my info including insurance cards through the website, since I didnt receive a confirmation I called the doctors office, which they statement was there is nothing place under my information so, I made a new appointment and finally got to the doctors office, for which I regret it, 1 hour plus of waiting time just to see a consultation and I must come back for any blood or urine test, it is not possible to have done a time your first appointment meaning they need to collect more of your copay, so decided to leave the office and get my 30 $ refund I guess I have a homework to do...(send my experience to my my network).

I have been going to Chantilly Family Practice Center for over 10 years. Dr. Mehra now takes care of me and my family. I always get the best treatment, and its easy to make follow up appointments. The equipment is upto date and feels like a mini- hospital. This is essential when one of my kids needs an xray or labwork , as it can all be done in the office. My uncle had an ultrasounds done last week, it was really great because this too was performed in the office, and Dr. Mehra was able to help us understand what our options were. Id recommend Dr. Mehra and his staff to anyone in search of an excellent primary care doctor.

I have used Dr,. Mehra as my primary care physician for over 23 years and have always been pleased with the care provided. I have never had a concern with his advice and feel that he takes the time to address any questions I have. His Saturday office hours are not the norm in the industry and work well with my work schedule. I have always been able to get appointments in a short time to work within my schedule. . Many services are performed at his clinic including on Saturdays so that with a little flexibility and planning I am able to accomplish most tests with little to no impact on my work schedule.

He is a cheap money oriented doctor, unbelievably he refused to see me after a confirmed appointment since his office receptionist tried to reschedule my appointment due to a mismanaged set up. I had to go to urgent care where the doctor at urgent care was shocked that with swelling in my throat that can be deadly a doctor refused to see me, later I filed a complaint with my HR department to take up the matter with insurance company but his office denied that I ever visited his office. I would not recommend this geeky doctor to any one.

Worst clinic Ive ever been to. No discipline whatsoever. The front desk people are very rude and theyll make you wait for hours and let their friends before you. If youre someone who has a lot of time and dont know how to kill it, make an appointment at this clinic and you will spend your whole day. The doctor doesnt even spend two minutes with you, so unless you have a choice, please DO NOT go to this clinic. Service is ZERO Quality is ZERO Care is ZERO Staff are RUDE Wait times are HORRIBLE I hope this helps! Thanks.

Just went to Dr. Mehras clinic for the first time about a week ago. He is a great doctor, one of the best PCP I have ever had. He spends sufficient time with the patient and gives you plenty of feedback as to how to improve your health. Even better is the staff he is surrounded by. All are very friendly and will go out of their way to meet your needs. I highly recommend Dr. Mehra to anyone and everyone!

Dr. Mehra has been my primary care physician for over 15 years. He and the staff at Chantilly Family Practice are competent, courteous, and take the time to listen to what you have to say. Ive never had to wait long to be seen - even when I havent had an appointment. The array of services and flexible hours also makes this practice very convenient.

Good solid primary care physician. He has a decent analytical and lab capability within his office that allowed for early diagnosis of a medical issue for me. His hours are fantastic as I often get Saturday appointments. I recommend him to anyone looking for a solid no-nonsense doctor.

Rajesh Mehara is one of the worst doc. I was really amazed the way he treated because he didnt treat me at all. Wasted my time and money and i went to the different practice they are great and very honest. Good bye for this stupid Mehara
