My experience with Dr. Turner Banks was fine. It is his office staff that gets him two stars. That are rude and ornery. I have never had anyone at a professional office speak to me the way the secretary Bobby spoke to me. While trying to gain clarification for something she told me she did not have time to continue going over the same thing and after asking to leave a message for the doctor she told me no and abruptly transferred me. Instead of trying to understand what I was trying to explain she simply continued to ignore me while waiting for her turn to speak and she may as well have hung up in my face. If she wanted a medical degree she should have gone to medical school, other wise Im not sure why she insisted on making a decision that should have been made by the Dr. I will never visit this practice again. Save yourself the trouble and the rise in your blood pressure.

Dr. Turner is an outstanding physician. I have high praise for him as he has taken both my husband and me through several very serious health problems. He is a skilled diagnostician and is kind when needing to address serious and sensitive matters. He listens carefully to patient symptoms and is quick to understand issues. I have had a great deal of exposure to medical professionals and he is number one in my book! I couldnt recommend him more highly.

Office is a complete dump. Dr. took forever and when he did make an appearance--he did not even touch me during visit to look at anything---very vague. Basically they take your money! Staff is unhelpful, unfriendly and needs to stop talking and clean up.

Very poor service. Went for a full physical & they didnt even check my blood pressure. Wasnt impressed with the staff, very unpersonable/ unfriendly. I felt like a number, just trying to get me in and out. Will not be going back.

Ive been going for years to Dr. Banks Turner, and he and his staff are some of the best in Richmond. My husband, who moved to Richmond in 2010, has high praises for him, too! A good friend also loves Dr. Turner.

This doctor prescribed Claritin for my friend who had a history of recurring breast cancer. If her history had been considered, it would have been discovered that she had a brain tumor .

Dr. Banks Turner is a good man, quite intelligent, and I know he does what is the best course of action according to his readings and information.

Two stars because of an unfriendly receptionist.
