I took my two bully breed dogs in for their first vet appointments since their adoption at a shelter. Mia, I didnt have any concerns but Max, I was concerned about the way his tail had been docked prior to adoption. I expressed my concern over the phone when I made the appointment on Friday. I requested Monday for an appointment for both of them. They were a ale to get both dogs in on Monday at noon. I have to say, when I first walked in another patient had her kittens and she acted like my dogs werent welcome but I get that reaction frequently due to their breed. We are planning on moving soon and I wanted to make sure my dogs were healthy and ready to move with no complications. We were brought into a room since the other patient was frightened. That was fine in my opinion. The front desk *didnt catch her name* was so very friendly, we talked about her dogs and how she loves them and it helped calm my nerves. Justin, the Assistant was so informative, explained the types of shots that were needed and the types of heartworm meds and flea and tick. Just overall excellent! Then Dr. A came in, his bedside manners were top notch. I work in the medical field so he was really on point. He quickly addressed Maxs tail. He explained he wanted to do a quick sedation to look at his tail since he felt something sharp. He then asked me to feel the same thing, he asked my availability for today and I said I was available. He presented a treatment plan for all procedures, medications, sedation and vaccinations and explained every little detail. He then gave us a new patient deal of a free office visit fee which I had no idea about but it was greatly appreciated. Dr. A and his staff are the best there is. My dogs are now home and they are perfect. Vaccinated and happy. Max is still recovering but I know the staff and Doctor had his best interest from the very start. Thank you so much 610 Animal Hospital :) Sincerely Always, Max and Mias Mommy

Went to get our dogs annually checked. One needed dental surgery. Staff seemed courteous and helpful at first. Doctor seemed thorough and caring. Day of surgery, vet was not on time to take in our dog at the time he set. He argued with my wife and said that the time was never agreed on but we have a phone call, voice mail and email all confirming the surgery time and drop off. Time was 830 am. Vet was called and said he was not told about this when he scheduled it himself, blamed being late on his family, said the surgery would start right away when he arrived making my wife late for work. The vet called me at 1158 am stating he found another tooth rotten and wanted permission to remove a second tooth and that dog was sedated. My wife arrived to pick him up at 630 pm as was scheduled. Find out the dog did not go into surgery until 330 pm and was still in surgery. My wife wanted to know why no timelines were meet. Person at the front desk at the time was rude and had an attitude, went into the back and spoke rudely and loud about my wife to where the entire lobby heard. Vet then said an emergency occurred but he did not end up giving care for the dog that came in but could not account for why our dog was sedated at noon until 630 pm still claiming the emergency is why after constantly saying he did nothing for that dog. He then complained to us that he had to call out of another job of his because we made him stay late and were inconveniencing him For "our inconvenience" $35 dollars was removed from a $700+ bill that was only paid out of good morals on our end. Now our dog is having reactions and has open sores all over him and fluid in his chest. Needless to say, we are going to a different vet tonight. Its upsetting that I have to give him a star just to post this.

SCAMMERS - the only word to describe this vet office. I DESPISE this vet office. I was new to the area and desperate for a vet when my dog got a funny skin rash. This place had good reviews so i decided to try it. My first visit, the vet played on my love of my dog and fear that he was sick to charge me $250 in unnecessary tests. I got a second opinion and found out that it just turned out my dog had allergies to pesticides that were put on my yard. He could have told me that and sent me home BUT he wouldnt have made any money. Second visit was today. My husband called ahead to ask the price of the office visit and filling out a certification of health for our puppy to attend daycare. He was told over the phone that it would be free. When he got to the office, first the doctor told him our puppy needed to be dewormed. She is healthy and has been dewormed multiple times... he just wanted to make money. Then, he took our vet form and disappeared with it. The front desk secretary came in and told him it would cost $35. He explained that he was told on the phone it was free by the morning attendant. She left the vet room and didnt come back. Then the doctor came in and said that it would be $40 for the form. At that point, my husband told him thanks for his time but he would just get the form from someone else and asked for our form back. The doctor said he had already filled it out so he would give it to us this time but next time would be $40. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!! They will prey on your love for your animal to take all your money!! TERRIBLE! They are definitely in it for the money and not the love of animals.

The staff at 610AH are very friendly; however, their professionalism is sorely lacking. We signed up for the Kitten Package and have visited twice: both times we could clearly hear the vet bickering with his technicians in the back work area. We were walk-ins on the first visit and happy to wait, but had a two-week standing appointment for the second. Our appointment time was 12pm; we were not greeted by the lone vet tech until 12:10pm; we were not seen by the doctor for two vaccinations until 1:30pm. We finally left at 2pm. Lastly, the Kitten Package was explained to us as a $69 package of three booster visits. Turned out we had to pay $69 each visit. We are very disappointed and will not be returning after our third set of booster shots. This business will thrive on walk-ins but lose returning customers if it continues in this direction.

First off, I would like to say, I worked with animals for many years during the college years, so I am no stranger to the vet world. Having said this, I tend to be a little bit more critical when it comes to vet clinics. I came to see Dr.Anthappan for vaccines and a consult on both of my cats. The clinic was clean, and non cluttered. The staff was pleasant. Dr.Anthappan seemed to really care about my cats. I mean, not that fake crap, but actually hugging them, and rubbing on them. He was very friendly, he just generally seemed to love his job. The prices were very fair and reasonable. I did go ahead with the procedures. Both times I was contacted after the surgery and was told my pets did great. Overall, both times going there was a great experience. I will be using him in the future.
