Our pets have be coming to Southside for 20 years. During that time Dr. Powers has treated our cats (4 cats) and dogs (5 dogs). He is so good with both cats and dogs. He is always gentle with them and understanding. He uses common sense to treat these animals. Especially when the animals get older. Its all about quality of life. We have been going to Southside since it opened. Dr Powers has been the best, most caring, vets we have ever encountered. Once he met us at the office after hours when our dog was having seizures. He also did a a house call when another dog got involved with a rabid raccoon and needed a booster shot. Both vets there, and the vet techs, really seem to love our animals and care about their welfare.

Love this place! Our dogs see Dr.Morrow and she is knowledgeable, so nice and she takes great care of my pups. She impressed me from the get-go when she called me while she was away at a conference to walk me through a dental procedure my dog needed. All the techs and receptionists are great, too. We were referred by a friend and we will definitely refer others!

We have taken out dogs and cats (about 8 in all) there for over 15 years. We have never been disappointed. He has seen some of our pets through their entire life cycle. Staff is great and they are very sensitive to the pets needs. We have tried others in the last 50 years but this man is the best. Alice Jones

On my first visit, Dr.Powers did some tests for my dog telling us that it would be free of charge. Afterwards, when we pay, we find he charges an extra $20 for the tests run, bringing the bill up to $78 (the original price was $58). I was very upset and hope to find a new vet with such low rates.
