My blue heeler rescue is a great dog but has major vet anxiety and an aggressive fear response. On his first visit to Catoctin Vets, he slipped his lead twice while I was attempting to go in the front door. Once inside, the staff, from the front desk to the tech, to the doctor, were positive, sensitive, and able to do what three other vets could not: treat my dog. Rather than forcing a particular tactic, the doctor improvised, read my dogs needs, and used a simple set of solutions so that she could make sure he got the vaccinations he needed. (A task I was told by another vet would be "improbable or even impossible.") It should also be noted that we paid less than half as much for these services than our previous vet, and there was absolutely zero upselling or selling of ancillary products or services. This is a highly competent, authentic veterinary clinic and I wont be going anywhere else for the life of my animals.

So many positive things to say about Catoctin Veterinary Clinic! Everyone from the front desk staff, to the vet techs, to the doctors are friendly, happy, helpful, and positive. Dr. Robbins has a very patient and calm demeanor which helps to relax and put anxious pets (and their owners!) at ease. They genuinely care about all the animals in their care and it shows. Their prices are very competitive and reasonable. I wholeheartedly recommend them to any pet owner.

We love this vet. We live out of state and come to this vet because they are great. However, we saw Dr. Conway for the first time and we were not happy. She was rude, and almost criticized me for feeding my dog certain food. I have never even been asked what kind of food I use because my dog is perfectly healthy. The vet techs are great and everyone else is wonderful just not Dr. Conway. I will never see her again.

Oh my gosh, Catoctin Veterinary Clinic is the best! We had been putting off taking our old sick family cat in, and they were wonderful when we finally did. I would never take a pet to any other Vet in Loudoun County. They are the most caring and reasonably priced. Thanks to our son and the many friends who recommended them.

Id give them 10 stars if I could. Dr. Paige Geier has been my vet for 20 years...she is fantastic. My dog Chex can be a pistol, but Dr. Geier always treats him like the special boy he is. My other dogs have anxiety issues, and again, Dr. Geier puts them at ease. Love this practice and the staff.
