Sentara in williamsburg is by far the worst hospital with the longest wait times. Although, riverside is no better. You just have to chose between the worst and almost the worst. Everytime I come in to this facility I think it will be different. Nope. Same treatment or worst. Whats so funny is that my expectations are already low, and they still impress me on how lazy, and dissatisfying they are. Physician came in, for what I expected to be less than five minutes to talk to us. We waited almost 6 hours to be told, its what they call a threatened miscarriage. To check in with my wifes obgyn this week. Customer service is always horrible. When it changes Ill definitely write another review. Until then, its like as always very bad. If its a minor pain take a little drive outside of williamsburg. If you cant afford to drive that far because of pain, then you have to decide. Is the pain worst then how you be treated, on how long youll be in pain before youre seen.

Had a Crohns Disease flareup while on vacation in Williamsburg. They tried calling my GI to see what they usually do for me when I have a flare and end up in the ER but couldnt get anyone to call them back. So they asked me and I told them and that is exactly what I got. Also instead of making me find a 24 hour pharmacy (nearest was Newport News I believe) they gave me enough medicine (pain & nausea) to get through the night until I got to the pharmacy the next day. First and only hospital I have ever seen do this.

Hated the hospital. Went there after i got into a car wreck. Filled out the insurance paper work, and the rest of the paper work. They never gave the insurance information to the doctors so my doctor bill when into collections. Collection fee is 30% of your bill. Asked the doctor billing why they put it into collections, they stated: " We assumed you would not make payment". I asked "why is this", they replied "Sentra never sent over insurance information".

I went for severe neck and clavicle pain with SWELLING at site. Pain will not go away. NO ultrasound to rule out sub clavian aneurysum no nothing..labs and Dr stated YOUR OK. Go home see your DR. Well a second opinion coming soon. with I told you so.....Dr very short with me...rushing me when I spoke about my concerns...to smile and say you ok..go to your dr...have a nice day...then took and hour to give me papers to go home!

Location changed. Building has been bought by the College of William and Mary to be converted into the new Education building. The new hospital is at 100 Sentara Circle.

Used to be better. They are trimming back services and doctors are leaving the organization. They are better than Riverside by a long shot!
