I wish I could leave no stars. Recently my employer forced Kaiser on the employees. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to pay out of pocket for Quality insurance so I must rely on my employer provided coverage. I do not live near my job so to be seen by a physician I must travel 35 miles out of my County. The facilities closest to me can only be compared to Walmart on Black Friday or the free clinic after a natural disaster. It is disgusting! Parking is inadequate, Staffing is inadequate and the quality of care is compromised. Kaiser could care less about their patients. Why would they not provide more affordable plans for patients that want to see private doctors? Why would they not partner with more hospitals so that ER patients are not turned away if they are not facing imminent death? Why not have more locations in the densely populated areas where they are "Thriving" ? Why, because they dont have to do better, but you do have to pay for insurance.

Anyone seeking medical services at Kaiser Largo should run in the opposite direction. This is the worse facility I have ever been to in my life. This organization treat the elderly with little or no respect. They pile them up in internal medicine and have them waiting for hours to be seen. It reminds me of the Superdome during hurricane Katrina. In addition, they had me walking around for months thinking that I had Kidney disease. Some knuckle head either mixed my results up with someone else or miss read the results. No one at Kaiser would tell me exactly what happened. To date, I have never received an apology from anyone at Largo. Its a sad situation at this location and if I were you, I would think twice about going to Kaiser Largo for anything.

The mental health services here are a joke. Told therapist what I needed and she flat out ignored me. Then I had to go to the urgent care because I was having a prolonged anxiety attack. They refused to triage me and so for about 1.5 hrs I was waiting to be seen and hyperventilating and crying. Once I was brought back, I saw 5 different nurses who assured me that I would see the doctor soon. When I did finally see the doctor she barely glanced at me before asking for the behavioral therapist. Doc didnt even ask me how I was feeling. This therapist was nice but unhelpful. When I asked about medication, they refused to give me anything besides Tylenol for the "chest pains." AVOID THIS CENTER IF YOU CAN.

Once you get a decent doctor youre in good hands. Ive had two at Kaiser. One that I had for almost 20 years finally left. The other is the only reason I remain. I think the administrative/desk/phone staff could use some dusting and polishing. They dont seem very glad that youre bringing your business, and they could be a bit more pleasant considering the reasons that youre there. Really poor customer interface skills. Finally...try connecting to the Kaiser Largo Pharmacy by phone...go ahead...Ill wait? On more than one occasion Ive dialed up to 7 times getting a series of disconnects, routing to radiology or some other dept., or just a general runaround. Terrible.

I have been with Kaiser for a while now and both my children go there as well. While the Urgent Care department needs work to work on wait time, I dont think people give them the credit they deserve. They are one of the few Urgent Care facilities open 24 hours in PG County so EVERYONE comes here!! While it you may sit there for hours (and probably a little while in the back) the doctors and staff are friendly and professional. I stay b/c our Pediatrician is Awesome! My Primary Care and OB-GYN are amazing as well. Again Largo is the closest facility to most so wait times are going to be long. But the Dr. and Nursing staff make it worth the wait.

I saw a after hours doctor on 6/617... The pharmacy did not enclose any direction paperwork when they gave me my prescription forcing me to call and find out how to take my meds on the phone. I then experienced some side effects to the medication and reached out to my Dr, Dr. Shital Desai with 3 separate messages on 6/7/17, 6/8/17, and 6/9/17 and did not get a response on any messages. So the weekend came and went and i finally get a call from someone from Dr. Shital Desai. Makes absolutely NO SENSE!!!! The meds are almost done and i just dealt with the side affects!!! Immediately looking for a new Dr.

Horrible experience in the Urgent Care and the OBGYN services are awful. Im extremely dissatisfied with the overall Kaiser experience. They do not take patient care serious and lack the proficiency needed to remain self sufficient. The costumer service is very poor and they seem to be improperly trained. After complaining to lead nurse and other staff, service did not improve. It took several hours to get my issue resolved, even though my OBGYN could have addressed my concerns during a more reasonable timeframe. Everyone should have an equal opportunity at proper care, which Kaiser doesnt provide.

If I could give them a zero I would. My husband got an epi pen filled which is VERY expensive. First after making him wait an hour they didnt bother to ask if he had insurance and filled it as cash. Then he had to wait an additional 30 minutes for them to re-run it with insurance. Right after he picked up the prescription (literally 10 minutes) he realized he had a coupon. He had to wait in line AGAIN for another 40 minutes just to have them say the dont take coupons and they refused to take the epi pen back (un-opened and hasnt even left the Pharmacy). Worst customer service I have ever seen.

I have been a patient here for a very long time...theres good with the bad, all in all it is an exceptional health care facility administering health care. With the recent upgrades including specialties you may have a longer wait time, sometimes there is no line in the pharmacy, or a 10 minute wait in the lab....either way it is affordable, dependable and great care. Is it perfect, no..however, I have been a member for over 20 years and will choose them again. The nurses, doctors, assistant RNs, lab techs, pharm specialists...thank you for what you do.

My experiences are for the most part positive. I just wanted to give one suggestion to all who are getting a colonscopy. The usual prep is Gavilyte-G is a brutal prep of having to drink 16 glasses of liquid over several hours. But there is another prep approved by Kaiser - Moviprep - low volume. Im told its only 6 glasses, but costs more. Ill be glad to pay it next time! I was not given the choice and I think every patient should be given the choice up front. It would make the whole process much more doable.

My sister diagnosed with a rare skin disease we have to visit Kaiser permanente in largo for Lightherapy twice a week. We are honored that Karen L. Jones is the one who takes care of my sister. I can say that she treats us like her own family. She does beyond her duty! Doing everything she can! Calling doctors , following up my sister health care etc. She is an angel in a human body. If it wasnt her Im sure it would be much harder for us to drive from Germantown to largo! Best of the best thats who she is!!!
