I took our two dogs and our cat to this vet for 5 years when we lived in Virginia. They have a great location and it is always super clean! I also like that they have separate entrances- one for dogs and one for cats. All of my animals had surgery at this vet (spay/neuter) and everything went great. Everyone there was super helpful and very accommodating- we were usually able to get our pets in that day or the following day. When we came to the vet, they knew my pets by name and always greeted them as we entered the door. I also had all of my animals boarded here and they came home happy and looking great! I would recommend this vet to anyone and everyone- Dr. Wallace is amazing! My Boxer was always skiddish going to the vet, but Dr. Wallace would sit right down in the floor of the exam room and wait for her to come to him. He was always so gentle and never in a hurry! He never made her get up on the exam room table- which always scared her so much! Another great thing about Magruder Tabb is that they are open on Saturdays until noon and take walk-in appointments. About every other week or so, we would take our dogs in on Saturdays for a quick nail trim and we were always seen very quickly. They would allow us to be in the room with our dogs and hold them and comfort them as they clipped their nails which was soothing to both us and our dogs. :) Of course all vets are pricey and I would say that Magruder Tabb runs about average, but the service we and my pets received was WELL worth it! If we were still in Virginia- we would be returning again and again and again!

Hmm...Im not sure of this place yet. I am new to the area and brought my dog in after reading good reviews here on Google. I had a good experience with the female vet (the fill in vet). After examining my dog, she did some labs and said they would call me the following day (Sat) or Monday. It is Tuesday and I hadnt heard anything so I called hoping it wasnt bad news since it was taking longer. The girl who answered the phone was very nice but told me that usually they ask the client to call them. I figured it was a miscommunication since I didnt see the actual "home" vet. She asks me to hold on so that she can get the information. She then comes back on the phone and says that they do have my dogs test results and she will have the vet call me. So wait, you want me to call you so that you can call me back? So why didnt they just call with the results to begin with? It seems like a inefficient way of doing business especially when youre waiting on results of your pets well-being.

Taking my very sick dog to this clinic was one of the the worst experiences of my life. The staff, including Dr. Bedford, were totally unprofessional and heartless. We knew our dog had a condition that was potentially terminal and, over the course of a couple of months, we sadly watched as she continued to get worse. We made the decision to put her down. Dr. Wallace (very professional and supportive but not in this particular day) initially advised us that she would more than likely not get better, so we were not surprised, just sad to watch our pup suffer. After a couple months time, we couldnt watch her suffer any more. We were then even more shocked by the pressure and candid conversation between the staff regarding our decision. We could hear them in the next room. This made a terrible situation even worse. I will never go here again and I would highly advise others to do the same.

We very much enjoyed Dr. Johnson and the way she handled our dog, the staff were great too, but when Dr. Johnson left and we were forced to deal with Dr. Wallace we switched vets. Both myself and my husband took our dog in individually and both mentioned we did not like the way he handled our pet. He was rough, insensitive, and forced our dog into uncomfortable positions, like forcing him to lay ion his side to look at his paw, when he very well could have worked with our dog. And he expected us to help him forcibly hold down our dog. Our dog loves everyone hes ever met and actually growled at Dr. Wallace the very last time we took him. People like Dr. Wallace are the reason our pets are afraid of the vet.

Dr. Wallace is the Best Vet. I would like to tell everyone that I honestly believe he is one of those rare Vets that have the whole Heart into his career. Thank you so much to you and your staff for the constant help that my parents needed for there dog Angel that has passed now because of kidney disease. Dr. Wallace can in office on Sunday and always promptly answer are phone calls. This past October I adopted a kitten from Dr.Wallace and now he is her vet. She just recently had surgery to get spades and let me tell you he has treated me and my kitty with the best care during this time. Bella Freeman and Suzanne Freeman YOU ARE THE BEST THANK YOU SO MUCH

Ive been taking my dog(s) to Dr Wallace and his staff for more than 20years. They have taken such good care of my dogs both when they werent feeling well and when they were boarded!! They love going to see Dr Wallace and the rest of the staff. You know when you have a great team when the staff has been together for many years and they know your dog by name!! I have recommended Magruder Tabb to many friends and family members and they all take there pets to Dr Wallace and his staff and are VERY PLEASED as well!! Theyre the BEST!!

I had a family emergency so I had to drop my dogs off for a few days. I dropped them off on a Thursday and picked them up Monday morning that same day I noticed that my youngest dog who is 14 weeks old started hacking up a lung I took her to the vet and she had contracted kennel cough. So I call them and inform them about my dog and this rude lady goes well what do you want us to do about it. IF YOU DONT WANT YOUR DOG TO GET SICK AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL CAUSE THEY DONT CARE AND THEY WONT COVER THE MEDICAL BILL

I have been a pet owner my whole life and by far Dr. Wallace is the best vet we have ever had! The entire practice have always been helpful and compassionate and even helped me find some ways to ease the financial of a expensive treatment program a sick dog. When another vet suggested euthanasia of a puppy after she had a seizure it was his staff that that came up with alternatives and encouraged me to wait and see what happened. that was 10 years ago and she is healthy and happy. Love this clinic.

I used Magruder-Tabb for my dogs and cats when I lived nearby, and Dr. Wallace was wonderful. He cared about the pets AND their owners. I have moved farther north and now use Seaford Vet, where a vet formerly with Magruder Tabb (Dr. Liz Leonard) runs the practice and she is equally as good. Ive had dogs and cats over the years and nothing but positive things to say about Joe Wallace and Liz Leonard and their capacity for caring. They hire good staffs, too, and the facilities are modern and clean.
