The staff tried to rip me off.... So I purchased my glasses on the November 27th 2016 with premium scratch resistance lenses (total cost $256.61) I received me glasses 4 days later on December 1st, all was good and i was very happy, i even rated them 10 stars on their customer service questionnaire. Unfortunately on December 13th they feel off my face into my sink and on the way down they hit the side, when i put them back on they had two tiny scratches on the left lens, which was a little annoying. So the next day i went back to the store told my story and then asked what my options where. A consultant the proceeded to tell me that i will have to replace my lenses and cover the cost, of which they would be $400 plus. I said no way that i nearly double what i paid for the glasses originally, he then offered me 20% off which i believe was $358, i chuckled to myself and again said no way, he then offered me 40% off which made it $268, I laughed again, he then said you should have insurance cause then it would only be $25 dollars to replace the lenses, and offered me 50% off if i get the $39.99 insurance, so the last price he offered me was $253. Not being from the US and new to all this health insurance stuff, i was thinking of just doing it, after all they fell of my face, but i thought ill check with my boyfriend who basically said why would you pay this amount for the same lenses which scratched so easily, go somewhere else that was a fair statement, so i grabbed my prescription and left. I then happened to end up talking to someone who used to work for LensCrafters (this is the best bit) and he basically said no way they offer to replace them within a month if scratched like that, he then proceeded to call his ex-colleagues who took my information and said they need to replace them for free up to December 27th, it was apparently my right, the ex staff member then said, they didnt offer it because it goes against their sales figures, (which makes sense I guess.) So I ended up walking back into LenCrafters and telling them about the conversation i have just had, then they asked me to take a seat, and basically 5 minutes later I had a new pair of lenses coming, FREE OF CHARGE. I know no one reads these really, but if i can stop one person falling for this, I have made this world a better place :P.

In the past five years Ive gone to Optometry clinics at both Walmart and Group Health but I recently went to Lenscrafters in Bellevue and I have to say how pleased I am with the whole experience from the exam through receiving my new glasses and I dont think Ill be returning to the other providers. The key reasons are; give our take $100, theyre all pretty much close in price but the difference is in the thorough eye exam and diagnostic equipment that Lenscrafters use. They can actually see inside your eye now without dialation and show you an image of what it looks like. The optometry selection is vast and the staff are very attentive and focused on great service. After 30+ years of wearing glasses, I can say that these are the most comfortable to wear and best presecriptive match Ive ever had. Its worth the trip to Bellevue to go to this place.

Service was great on my initial visit even though their system was down and they had trouble running my credit card. When I called months later to ask for a new brand of contact lenses the clerk helping me on the phone was rude, unprofessional and actually "chuckled" at me. When I asked to speak to someone else she said nobody else was available. I will be going elsewhere and I would highly recommend avoiding LensCrafters all together. With all the different options out there, why waste your time with a company who does not value their clients. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to my initial visit.

Optometrist was amazing. I spent a few hours with him because a prescription I had gotten from a local Bellevue place was off. I couldnt see with the lenses I had from this other new shop ( long story and will review them soon) When I got to LensCrafters they did their best to accommodate me since I was a walk in. Now, my lenses are great. My frames are not as fancy as the other place, only I would rather be able to see clearly. I had a great experience here and would highly recommend them.

Having read the previous reviews I actually avoided Lenscrafters and went across town to Pearlvision at Factoria, however they could not do the lenses I needed in a short time frame and referred me back to Lenscrafters. I ended up being totally amazed with the staff, they were helpful, the doctor attentive and took time to explain, and total lack of pushiness. I enjoyed the experience and got a great pair of glasses with progressive lenses in less than two hours. Bravo.

I have to agree with Tor....great initial service, but all downhill after that! I paid for my glasses IN FULL (over $900) seven weeks ago....they still cant get it right. I have spent $90 in ferry fees alone just to go back and forth! Do not waste your time or your money. ps....I have used this Lenscrafters MANY times but now I understand it has changed ownership since the last time I got glasses. Absolutely horrible service.

Had to replace a pair of glasses after running over them with my car. The general manager, Allison, worked with me to figure out how to do this a very little cost by taking advantage of the many programs and discounts they offered. In addition to being both helpful and resourceful, she was super friendly and funny, making the overall customer experience even better. Thanks Allison!

Optometrist was excellent. Initial service was good. After the salesman took over, it was like entering into a used car lot - lots of fast talking and numbers already factored into the formulae in his laptop. All he wanted to do was to put in as many accessories into the eyeglass/frame to come up with the final price. I wouldnt recommend anyone to go there, I wouldnt.

Optometrist was great, took the time to explain an discuss test results, very profesional and nice. The staff was corteous, helpfull, explained charges and insurance claims right upfront, got all insurance info filled out while I picked out the frames and had lenses ready as estimated. Overall great experience. Recommending.

Went in because my Ray Ban sunglasses were bent and the lens kept popping out. Unfortunately while the glasses tech was working with them, the lens cracked. Without question, they found a brand new pair and gave them to me free of charge! Awesome customer service. Will definitely come back in the future.

Service is good, but the money they charged is whopping...went for my kid and spouse eye checkup, insurance is covered(Insurance covered is Eye exam + 130 for frame for each ), but still i ended up paying 260$ (just for lenses)which is huge... and they say i save 750 $ ..this is too much
