Saw Dr. Fang years ago myself, didnt like her, went somewhere else. My father was assigned to her a couple years ago, but I had concerns about his treatment after he told me some stories, so I went during his last visit. She greeted us very warmly, but the rest of the visit I felt blown-off. I told her about a concern, she asked a couple questions then said, "I have no more advice for you." Really? Isnt it her job to get to the bottom of problems? He was also recently put on a new blood pressure medication at a walk-in visit with another doc and then a couple weeks later, another med by another doc. She also increased another of his medications. I asked her when she wanted us to check back in to be sure the blood pressure meds were doing well and no side effects from anything, etc. She paused then said 6 monthts. Really? No advice and dont come back for 6 months? Were looking for another doctor. Its also near impossible to get a sick visit with her unless you can wait 3 weeks. She also doesnt explain things well, if I hadnt been there, my father would have been lost and she wouldnt have gotten any straight answers to her questions because he didnt understand them. Hes not stupid, just a lay person with no medical knowledge, like most people! Go somewhere else.

This is an okay doctors office. The care they provide is sufficient to meet my needs but I do have a couple of gripes with them. Wait times are often very long. Ive waited over an hour for a scheduled appointment. The front desk staff didnt alert me when I checked in that there would be a wait. I had to ask several times if I had been forgotten about but they would just tell me that I would be seen soon. Its better to get an appointment first thing in the morning if you want to be seen on time. They also billed for something that I didnt come in to see them for. I came in for an annual wellness exam which is 100% covered by insurance. However, my doctor mentioned a cosmetic issue of mine that doesnt bother me. Since she brought it up, they billed for it and I ended up having to pay for a full outpatient visit even though it was not why I came and not a concern of mine. I spoke with the billing department who said there wasnt anything they could do about this.

Today. 5/24/2016. Husband walked in from work. Light headed. Abnormally fatigued. Said he checked his blood pressure at a local drug store and it was in the " high/ have it checked out" range. He told the front desk all of this information. They said that they didnt check for blood pressure related illnesses. He said, "What if I were to have a stroke right here and now?" They laughed and said that they still wouldnt/couldnt check him. Am I to understand that this practice does not screen blood pressure before any and all evals? Am I to understand that this practice would refuse care to a person who collapses in their office? Is this clinic unqualified to do blood pressure evaluations, suggest an Emergency facility, or have they hired a front staff without proper knowledge of protocol? Either way, I will be notifying the powers-that-be. It is not a laughing matter.

I would give them 0 stars, but thats not an option. Dr. Coppeans is a fraudulent lying piece of trash. Went in for a wellness visit for my first visit to go over my meds and get refills. Which should have been a free wellness visit. I mentioned I have chronic sinus infections so he would have it in my medical history, and be aware of it. He prescribed nothing, but billed it to my insurance company that I came in with a chief complaint of a sinus infection. I got billed almost $300 for a med refill. I let him know when I got there that it should be a wellness visit. He told me its not a wellness visit unless he does a pelvic exam. So if I show you my vagina its free? Eff you UW Medicine, and an even bigger eff you to Dr. Christopher William Coppeans.

I have never had a worse experience with a GP as I have had at UW physicians. I dont believe in bashing a person, so, the doc who will go unnamed. That said, the Doctor only seems to hear what he wants to hear. He immediately fit me in category as someone he didnt trust. The answering service had numerous miscommunications with this Doctor as well. Im not entirely sure its the fault of the answering service now that I have had a chance to get to know the doctor. Ill just simply say, do yourself a favor and do your due diligence. Look for a Doctor that will look at you and your needs as an individual. UW physicians seems like the easy obvious choice for many... but the bad reviews are valid.

UW Med Urgent Care in Federal Way turned me away saying my prolonged exposure to Toxic Black Mold, causing me to have a burning sore throat and coughing, wasnt Acute enough to warrant Urgent Care. (The Nurse at UW Med Ravenna Clinic phone help line is the one who referred me to that location, because I had been exposed to a huge mold problem for eleven months.) I went to Immediate Care in Burien the next day, they refused to treat me because Mike at Immediate Care in Burien said that they were not going to get involved in the litigation part of it. The Medical Professions Business Plan sucks.

made an appt for my gf a week ago. woke up bright and early to get the basic check up and we were turned away. the completely rude and unprofessional front desk girl said that it wasnt her problem because she didnt know who made the appt. that the doctor wasnt taking new patients. well we said a week ago that we would see any doc avail. they recommended Dr. Robert and not until we waited a week and came in early on a day off did they tell us that he wouldnt see us.

Dr Reddy was rude, condescending, and a total waste of time. She gave me a prescription for medication that HAD to be taken that day to be effective...and she didnt even call it in until two days later!!! She didnt address any of my concerns at all, and was generally demeaning and awful. Im never going back again. I left the office literally in tears because of how poorly she treated me. It was horrible.

I dont know why all the bad reviews, I have been going here for 4 yrs and have not been treated any better by any of my past doctors. They cant handle everything that comes in as a clinic, you can do a walk in if you need immediate attention, and so far they have been thorough. I may be lucky, but I am happy with the service they have provided.

Great Physicians, Receptionists need more training and a general polishing of people skills. The reason we dropped another provider in favor of UWP was to have access to UW orthopedists. They referred us however, to a Specialist with Providence. I'm stunned. It all comes down to communications, the lack thereof by all parties concerned.

My Spanish speaking only male friend went for lower abdominal left pain. He was asked to give a urine and blood sample and an X-ray. A few days later was called and was told he has a stomach infection. Dr Alma Jimenez is great. He had been to see Sea Mar in Kent for the same discomfort for almost 1 year, and was never diagnosed property.
