Quite disappointed with this place. The staff was friendly and the location was clean but the doctors were subpar. I have fibromyalgia (which is typically managed by general practitioners as Dr. Lee is, or select rheumatologists even though it is not an inflammatory condition.) In the process of discovering I had this, Dr. Lee not only tried to refer me back to the rheumatologists I had already advised dont handle fibromyalgia, but he also referred me to a number that was very apparently disconnected and no longer in service. I feel like the least that could have been done here, before trying to shove me back to people who advised me wont treat me would be to verify the contacts you have are actually still around before referring someone to them... One of his colleagues who saw me on an "emergency" basis during my first fibro fog (where I was having trouble remembering simple things and things I had done no more than 5 minutes ago) told me that she thought it was a panic attack and promptly prescribed me Xanax without second thought as if she wasnt listening to me stating that this is a symptom of a pre-existing condition that I have. I understand that my condition is not very well understood by anyone but the least they could do is give me the impression that they actually care by doing some freaking research and verifying phone numbers theyre referring me to. All in all, I felt like the moment I stepped beyond common cold, they stopped putting forth a real effort and just tried to bandaid the situation so I would go away. I had to do my own research and ended up referring MYSELF to a pain management clinic I found online that has been WONDERFUL and actually found a treatment to manage my symptoms. I will now be looking for a NEW doctor to handle my "regular" needs like annual check-ups, cold/flu triage, etc. because I know if a situation were ever to evolve beyond commonplace, I couldnt trust these doctors to help much...

The staff was rude, unhelpful and dismissive. Medical care is a service industry and needs to be treated as one, your staff needs retraining on what customer service is and that that is the field they are in. Clinics like this is what is wrong with our medical system, DO NOT USE PROVIDENCE LYNNWOOD! After being over an hour late to our appointment 20 minutes waiting past our appointment in the lobby, then 50 minutes in a small room with our 18 month old toddler we were charged over $500 for our 15 minutes with a doctor that was dismissive, unprofessional, and rude. When we did see the doctor she had obviously not previously reviewed our childs records, didnt even look at a chart or the computer, barely examined our child. I love that there was charge was $104 for a setup fee charged each new doctor you see at providence, we got charged this before when we started using your clinics? How hard is it to log into your computer no setup involved? Or if your going to charge, actually review the records! We will never use your company or clinics again, id rather pay out of network.

This facility is a complete waste of time for reasons of limited resources and disassociate behavior of their staff. Because their facilities cant do anything beyond write prescription and rub gland while going "hmm" youll be sent else where. Which means youll waste time and money driving filling out forms at other locations. Just save yourself the trouble and dont go there for primary care, go to the ER or walk in. The reason for giving 1 star is because of how rude the staff is. My primary care doc came in to sign documents, and somehow answered all concerns with yes or no. Then there is nurse Kelly that stepped outside of the parameters of her job by making punitive comments about my personal life. This is where the burn outs go because theyre tired and no longer concerned about the care of their patients. Instead looking for higher payout by charging for scheduling appointments or calling back with test results that came from a different facilities. As I said go to the ER or walk in because this location will likely recommend as I am right now.

I was pretty shocked when I saw such low and negative reviews for this place but still chose to go there as it was convenient and close to home. But after taking my baby to Dr. Martel a couple of times, I completely relate to these reviews. This doctor is a joke and bad imprint on medical industry. Very unprofessional, rude, does not care about parental concerns, stubborn and far from caring. I was absolutely shocked, disheartened and sad for the children that go through her hands. The staff is nice and polite but its the doctors we go to see, and there are far better doctors who will take much better care of your children and will listen to you as a parent and child. There has to be a good reason why she constantly have countless openings each day. I also got stuck with a bill for service that should have been covered by insurance but they refused to recode it. So disappointing...will never set foot in this place and will discourage others from doing so too.

Had a physical there. Had specific conversations with the Dr. that I refused any action that was covered in or coded as preventative care. Yet, Im told I have a mole that looks suspicious that "should get biopsied". I make it clear that I dont want that performed unless its part of my physical. Cut to two months later and Im receiving weekly calls from the lab they used looking for payment because it wasnt coded as preventative. Ive had to call Providence and tell my story about how I was scared into a thing I dont need and am stuck with a bill because how it was coded. Two months later and I get calls weekly and I call Providence and am told they sent it to review and will call me. 2 months going on 3. Dont go to this facility even though its clean and the staff is nice. They dont care about you or your health and no one is capable of giving a straight answer or helping you. Went here for years and used to like it. Alas.

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a pediatrician, Id recommend listening to what the other reviews are saying because I couldnt agree more. I have never been spoken to from a doctor like Dr. Martel has, completely condescending and rude. You go in expecting some help and assistance but at best youll walk out with nothing more than a google print out of whatever you described to her assistant. She has no discretion when talking to a child nor does she take the time to listen, I am appalled by how she handled my situation I will never take my child to her again and I recommend no one else does either.

We take our daughter to Dr. Martel and we couldnt be happier with her. Over the years with our older kids we have seen lots of different Dr.s and I have not liked one of them. Dr Martel is straight forward and to the point, she does listen to what you have to say and asks appropriate questions. She seems more holistic then most Dr.s from the conversations weve had which works great for our family. Also her nurse is a sweet heart and the reception ladies have never been anything but sweet and professional to us. * Super confused by all the negative reviews. We definitely suggest you give them a try.
