I never really felt comfortable from the start. I am on Medicaid and the older receptionist always made sure I knew what a pain in the butt I am and how difficult it is to bill. Ryan, the son of the founder in this father/son business was always polite and seemed professional but referred me for cataract removal surgery to Northwest Eye Surgeons for my congenital (born with) cataract. The surgery was botched by them (not his fault) but repeated eye exams by him over a period of four months, resulted in an inaccurate prescription when I FINALLY ordered glasses. So, here I sit, still unable to see out of my old lenses, and I dont feel comfortable having him check the prescription. The botched cataract removal never resulted in any empathy from him. I am so sensitive to light now, I cant even take the light from standard, household bulbs. I have lost almost all my peripheral vision and this has never exhibited a single sympathetic word from him. The cataract I had never grew, never changed, it was just there, all of my 47 years. Youd think the disastrous end result would have my eye doctor calling me, following up, and offering his very best treatment. Now, onward to risk a new eye doctor and try and get an accurate prescription.

A long-time Maple Valley business that has earned its place here. Front desk staff has changed and improved for those of you concerned. I have been seeing Dr. Ryan for about 10 years. Hes gives great advice, including helping me with my decision for Lasik and referring me to PCLI in Bellevue. He helped me make the right decision for ME (not him) and what would be best for MY eyes and my profession. I could no longer tolerate contacts for long periods of time and my Rx had stayed the same for 15+ years. He has helped me when I had dry-eye issues and is always laid back and kind. He has squeezed me in numerous times for eye injuries and questions on a moments notice. Its been 5 years since Lasik and I love it, and my annual eye exams are still great. Give them a shot!

I was running a few minutes late because I had originally gone to the wrong Clinic. It was my first time getting my eyes checked in many years. The women at the front desk were absolutely wonderful and extremely welcoming. The doctor was also fantastic. Im very happy i chose to go here! I was by myself so the women at the front desk also helped me choose my frames because I couldnt decide between two. I will definitely be going back and I also referred two of my friends here!! Thank you for your wonderful service!

Love the Doctor - great work & very professional. Totally arrogant receptionists. Treats you like they are doing you a favor by talking to you. If it was up to me, I would work only with the doctor and avoid them completely. Sad that we cant do that.
