My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Sea for about 6 years now. We like her so much that we literally moved locations with her, from her old location in Bothell to the current office in Mercer Island. Over many years and more moves than I can count, its rare that I maintain the same doctor (of any type) for any length of time. Dr. Sea is the exception, because she is worth traveling to, no matter how far we must drive (were only a half hour away now). Her combination of professionalism, warm nature, and positive attitude is infectious! I cannot help but smile every single time I "see Dr. Sea!" All jokes aside, Dr. Sea is by far one of the best doctors I have ever been to. She is knowledgeable, takes the time to answer questions, and never rushes me through an appointment. Im not exactly the fastest patient when it comes to things like updating lenses, and Dr. Sea has never lost patience with me. If youre looking for a great Optometrist (with an equally great office), than Dr. Sea is your doctor! Two very happy patients with crystal-clear vision... ~ Michael & Mandy

Dr. Sea is a friend of mine but it will not stop me from telling the truth. I have never felt more comfortable with a visit to an optometrist or any doctor for that matter. My visit was beyond getting fixed for glasses but rather, my father suffers from a genetic disease called retinitis pigmentosa. This disease causes blindness over the years so you can imagine how important it is for me to have a competent optometrist. She was very knowledgeable of the intricacies of this disease and helped explains the facts with no hesitation. Eric and Angela were amazing in assisting me with all I needed during my visit. In fact, what struck me the most was seeing how good of a team Dr. Sea has built and how much she cared about her staff and how much her staff looked up to her. To me, this is the best quality a doctor can have and is a reflection of her kind and caring personality.

I could not be more pleased with my experience at Mercer Island Family Eye Care! If I could, I would give them a million stars, but apparently thats not allowed, so 5 will have to suffice. Everyone I encountered was friendly, attentive and very knowledgable. Yana walked me through the initial eye health exam and retinal imaging, and I was impressed with the degree of care that was taken to make sure my eyes were as healthy as they could be. Dr. Sea handled my fittings for both contacts and glasses, and she was an absolute delight! She put me at ease with her air of amiability, and conducted herself with complete professionalism. Ive never had such a great and thorough eye exam, and I can see better than I ever have before. Ill absolutely go back for all of my eye care needs. Thank yoooouuu!!

Talk about some of the best customer service I have ever had! From the moment I called the staff was extremely nice! Eric, was kind enough to ask Dr. Sea to if she could squeeze me in for a contact fitting that very same day, and she more than obliged! Eric was great when it came to explaining my benefits, for frames or contacts. Brita who helped with my exam was very thorough, and communicated each step of the exam. Dr. Sea was extremely friendly, had me laughing and smiling throughout my exam, and ordered me some different contact samples to try. Mercer Island Family Eye Care has a great selection of frames, one of the friendliest staffs, and maintains a professional environment while still having fun. I would recommend this place to anyone needing an eye exam!

I work on the Eastside but live in Seattle so I had to find an optometrist that was easily accessible. Thanks to yelp, I was able to find this location and I am happy with the services that I received and the people that I met. Scheduling was as easy as they are open 6 days a week and I was able to come in after work . I was greeted by Eric who answered all my many questions about my insurance plan and what it covers. It had been a while since ive had my eyes checked and I was due for new glasses. The exam was very thorough and they had many cool gadgets, one that even takes a photo of my eye! When I was done, they helped me pick some really cool glasses that I am actually excited to wear. Ill probably come back to get some sunglasses later.

I decided to check out Mercer Island Family Eye Care because they were conveniently located along my bus commute between Seattle and Bellevue. I was really pleased with the enthusiastic, professional, and caring service that they provided. Theyve got a great selection of frames and lenses at affordable prices. If youre active on the water, I would definitely recommend checking out their selection! I got a pair of sunglasses that firmly stays on my face while I paddle and polarized lenses to keep reflection from the water from blinding me in the summer.

03/24/2015: I went back! The team stayed late into after hours to help me pick a new pair of Prodesigns. They were frank with what looks good and bad. I cant wait to pick them up. The office was very inviting with a knowledgable staff. Coming here is definitely steps beyond your generic dept store experience. I appreciate that MI Family Eye Care embraces the latest greatest tech and gave me a truly complete eye exam. From that I scored a very sweet green pair of Denmarks; underlining my many styles for my many attitudes.

I love this place. The staff is super friendly. Getting an appointment was easy and I have never had to wait very long when I got there to see Dr. Sea. Shes friendly and courteous. Ordering glasses and contacts were really easy. All I had to do was call them to tell them I need new contacts. Even from NY, I called and told them I would be in town the following week and they said they would have my contacts ready for me when I get there. Like I said, this place is awesome. I have been recommending Dr. Sea since day one!

Great experience. Dr. Sea was very thorough and patient with me and my questions and concerns. I was in there for a regular eye exam and thought Id questions about my eyes constantly getting dry and agitated. I just thought it was normal or perhaps allergies. She pinpointed the issues was probably due to my job at a restaurant grilling meats all day long. She explained to me the long term affects of heat and smoke to my eyes if I didnt work on preventative care and helped me with solutions in conditioning my eyes.

This is a very professional, friendly Eye Care Business! The staff is wonderful and very helpful. Fast, convenient service and easy to get to if on the Island. Also, plenty of parking if you have to drive. Dr. Jones is experienced and thoughtful. She did a great job fitting me for my contacts. I like the fact that the fitting is done by a doctor and not a technician to get the right fit. Also, a follow up is scheduled for any adjustments or changes. Great practice that I highly recommend!
