I tried out a consultation with Rod Dahlinger as a referral, as Ive struggled with lower back pain and tightness for a few years. Having never been to a chiropractor, I was admittedly skeptical. Unfortunately, my skepticism of chiropractors was strengthened after this experience. Mr. Dahlinger is very well trained at his speeches he gives to potential patients. He talks very quickly and tries to get you through the system and signed up with a treatment plan as quickly as possible. Id be willing to bet he says 90% of the same stuff to every patient. For example, here are a couple of amusing one-liners that he said to both me and someone else I know who has seen him: "Ill stay late tonight to get these x-rays looked at and have it ready for you tomorrow" (amusing, since it seemed he hadnt seen my x-rays at all when he looked at them during my follow-up consultation) "Want me to sugar coat it or shoot to you straight?" (verbatim; exact same thing he said to me and the other person I know) He talks very quickly. It was apparent he doesnt make his money in these consultations (especially since I got a $17 St. Patricks Day special). It seem pretty clear that his primary objective is to get you signed up with a treatment plan so you can become an income source for him. Because of his fast talking, I had lots of questions. He was clearly frustrated that I had so many questions and wanted to fully understand what the plan was going to do. He even laughed when I asked him to re-state one component of the treatment (because I was clearly the dumb one not understanding his smooth talk). He made it clear my questions were a waste of his time. He tried to insist that he had "no idea" on approximately how long treatment would take. I wanted a rough ballpark based on his experience; he refused until I persisted, at which point he finally said 3-12 months. I know everyone is different, but someone who is experienced should have some rough ballpark averages to set relative expectations. Thats all I was looking for, but it was very hard to get it out of him. So, as hes trying to wrap up, he asked me about three different times "So, do you want to get this taken care of?". Umm, what the heck is that supposed to mean? I called him on it and asked him to clarify with a more specific question. Do I want my back to get better? Of course; thats a stupid question. Why else would I be here? I think it was his cute way of asking if I wanted to commit the $$$ to pay him for 3x/week adjustments. In spite of much of this, I was actually close to paying the $50 to do the initial "test alignment" following the two consultation appointments, but I ultimately walked away and wont return. The whole thing just felt like too much of a slimy sales pitch, and the fact that he was mostly dismissive of my concerns sealed the deal. Bottom line: if you want to be a unit on a conveyor belt with no personalization of treatment, hes your guy. If you want someone who acts like they care, listens to your concerns and questions, and asks direct questions, go elsewhere (or perhaps skip the chiropractor altogether). I should have saved my $17.

One Morning I yawned so intensely my jaw would no longer open more than about half an inch.Dr. Dahlinger examined me and in time was able to get things back to normal. During the course of this time Dr.Dahlinger took x-rays and examined me using modern digital exam computers and started chiropractic adjustments.I feel I have made great progress and I feel Really Good.Dr Dahlinger is continually updating his knowledge and is dedicated and concerned for his patience health and well being.Thank You DR DAHLINGER.

Until I met Dr. Dahlinger I had no idea what a broad spectrum of ills that chiropractic can treat effectively. Of course, he treats many auto accident and workplace back pains; but it goes so much further, treating some ailments that can cause symptoms from earaches to skin conditions. Any time one has irregular physical issues, its a good idea to consult "Dr. Rod" to see if his holistic non-invasive methods can help. Besides that, hes just an extremely pleasant and upbeat gentleman.

Dr. Rod isnt one of those chiropractors who just sits you down, gives you a quick adjustment and then sends you on your way. He asks you questions, figures out exactly where the cause is, and puts together a plan for you to stay healthy and strong, instead of just doing a quick fix where the symptoms will come back.

I visited Dr. Rod and he made sure to do a very thorough exam. He took the time to discover what was really going on. He has the expertise and actually cares to take the time to really help. If you have back or neck pain, you should see him. Youll be glad you did!
