I have been going here for years with OK results not great just OK. In the last year the front desk has been a mess. I show up for an appointment and I am not on the books (good thing I had the name and time I called both times!) I had an emergency and it took 2 weeks to get in! One of my cats had a tumor removed in the same spot 2 times in 2 months; and I was finally told "Oh, by the way, it will just keep coming back. My poor cat! It seems there is a lack of empathy now. I found a stray in January in bad shape. He had open wounds, I was told he just needs to be sewn up and neutered! The leg kept getting worse: so I went back again and was told Im sure it will be fine, keep an eye on it, I told her I have been keeping an eye on it for 3 weeks from when I saw Dr. Olsen. She said he will be fine! I waited several more weeks, went in again as a drop off. A cold message was left on my phone "Your cat has cancer on his leg, your option is to have the leg cut off or come and pick him up!!???? What?! I was so upset I requested to talk to Dr. Olsen and since I have another cat with cancer his words to me was: "If I was you, I would move! I couldnt believe it. I made an appointment with another vet in Oly; so I requested my records. Guess what: they had no records of my visit but they did find my cat x-ray from that day. Boy doesnt that tell it all! Shame on you to put both of my cats and me through all of this including all the cost involved.

Last weekend my sweet Pointer/Pitbull mix (Cooper) developed a mysterious tennis ball-sized lump in his throat. It was quite a serious situation especially in context airway obstruction. I waited outside their office first thing Saturday morning. Despite their busy schedule, Dr. McCann saw him at once and immediately began problem-solving (caring evaluation, x-ray, etc.). In turn, she prescribed a combination of steroids and antibiotics. Due to her caring disposition and acute detective work, Cooper is completely on the mend. I should also mention, office prices are amazingly affordable.

I have been using the services of Dr. Olson and this Veterinary Hospital for several years, and have friends who have been for even longer. Everyone that I know that has had experience with this place has had nothing but good things to say. They cremated a cat of mine that died, for only $10, fixed 3 of our cats and they now take care of my cocker spaniel dog. They keep excellent records and it helps me to know what my dog needs and when. I would trust the care of my dog to them any time. And my dog is my best friend.

I have had the pleasure of many pets in my life and yes they are considered to be family. We have been to to 11 veterinarians each with several docs but that is over. The care at Shelton Veterinary clinic is A1. Caring, professional, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. Yes, you will wait for an appointment and yes you will be on hold when you call just shows how many people trust them with their family members. Best ever vet.

I love the Dr. She is great. The dogs and cat are comfortable with her and she is informative and tries to keep costs down. The front office is not so great. The young women seem more than will to help but every time I go in the older women seem to not care if you are greeted or not. They are dismissive and rude on the phone and every time I have to go there I cringe knowing I have to deal with them.

They provide wonderful animal care and always take their time to fully assess a pets situation. Prices are very affordable which matters a lot to us. Only negative is that they are so good and busy that it may take a week to get in but I am sure they accommodate emergencies. They have always called me when someone has cancelled to fit me in earlier if needed. The staff are great.

Well worth an hours drive to take my pets to Shelton Veterinary Hospital! Staff is friendly, compassionate and go out of their way to ensure your pet is well cared for. I cannot say enough good things about this business. Oh and not to mention, the prices are amazingly low. I was quoted $473-$800 by a Silverdale vet to do a service that cost me $212 at Shelton Veterinary Hospital!

I have been using this vet for about 5 years. I have 3 cats and 4 dogs and all are well cared for here. The people are amazing and definately care immensely about the animals. Cost is also quite reasonable. I am often surprised at the price it is time to pay, expecting it to be higher than it is. I highly recommend them for your non-human family members!

They tried to take advantage of my mom joyce knox. Lexie has awsome care from becks place. The shelton vets office totally has tried to charge mom 200$ for medicine lexie dont need. Lexie is in great hands at becks place. Stop taking advantage of elderly cancer patients. I am so pissed I am going to turn them into better business Bureau

We love Dr. Gary I have been going to this Vet Hospital for 35 years or so. Obviously I am happy with service and price, compassion. My only complaint is it can take a week or 2 to get in to see the Dr. & a couple of the counter girls can be condescending. Just got a new puppy cant wait to see Dr. Gary.....oh wait is what I will do.

My family has been going to Doc. Olsen for about 15 years now and he has always been amazing , kind and just the best vet. we have ever been too. All of his staff are excellent as well. I would never go anywhere else but here. Prices are amazing and you can tell each and everyone there has a amazing love for animals.

I bring my dog Buster here to have his teeth cleaned. It cost over $500 last year to have his teeth cleaned in Everett and it was under $200 to have it done here. The staff was friendly and efficient. My buddy did not have any issues and didnt really need any pain meds. I would highly recommend this place.

Been going here for years. Last two times they couldnt get my sick dog in. Isnt a hospital for emergencies? Dont like the lack of concern, or the lack of availability. Called a new Vet, an appt 2 hours later. Bye Shelton veterinary.
