I will say that at first I liked Dr Burton at the Evergreen Animal Hospital when I brought my pet to him the first time. Although after having my dog receive a minor procedure done at this faciliy things changed. When I brought my pet in to get checked out I was told one price for the treatment and offered to pay before the procedure was completed because I was picking my dog up after hours later. I was told by the receptionist that I could pay when my dog had her stitches removed. My wife called and scheduled a appointment to have the stitches removed for this morning. I brought my dog in to have it done and the receptionist told me that their would be another charge for a tranquilizer to keep my dog relaxed. I was frustrated with this vet because they were not transparent in all the fees initially when scheduling the procedure. I explained this to the receptionist and she told me she would speak with the doctor. I received a phone call about 45 minutes later from Dr Burton telling me that I can come pick up my dog and he would not remove the stitches until my bill was paid in full. Never once did the doctor attempt to ask my side about the bill. I know he doesnt know I offered twice to pay and was told by his staff that I could pay after the stitches were removed. My thoughts are simple, know the whole story before you call a patient and accuse them of not paying their bill. Payment was never a issue. During the phone call attempting to explain to the doctor that I felt that his staff was not very clear on the fees, he told me that they were and quickly attempted to get off the phone with me. In my opinion this is bad customer service and unethical business practice on their part. Im sure he is a good doctor but BEWARE of all the fees that go along with any procedure at this vet.

Dr. Burton is the absolute best vet Ive ever dealt with. He is highly intelligent, greatly experienced, and super friendly. He patiently answers all questions in as much scientific detail as one could ask. I couldnt be more pleased or ask for anyone better. I wont trust anyone else with my working GSD or my felines. Thanks Dr. Burton and crew. Oh, and that "google user" one star post below couldnt be more false and ridiculous. Totally the opposite of my experience and that of whom referred me. A certain animal hospital wanted to put down my friends GSD, Dr. Burton told him to bring the GSD to his office, he did exploratory surgery, found and fixed the problem, and the dog is alive and well today years later.

I am not saying he doesnt know what he is talking about--he just couldnt care less about the well-being of any animal. He would rather put an animal down than deal with its issues. And his staff are not knowledgable at all. They cant even answer the simpilist questions and are not confident around animals in any way. It seems like Dr. Burton is in the wrong profession and he needs to stop hiring his friends kids because they are not professional at all and they are as rude as all get out. Please dont take your pets here. Unless you want to deal with someone who likes to talk big, only to hide when conflict arises.

Dr Burton is by far the best vet I have ever been to. He has been seeing my adopted Min Pin, Rosco, since I got him 4 years ago. It is so refreshing to actually spend a good amount of time with the vet and not just the assistants. He has always explained things so well and CLEARLY loves animals. Rosco is so comfortable around him even though he doesnt like men very much. Because of Dr Burton, Rosco and my wallet have avoided very expensive surgeries that had been recommended by others and he has thrived on the alternative treatments. Would never go to any other vet. Thanks Dr Burton!

This place is amazing. They took great care of my baby when she broke her leg. She had to have a surgery. Other places quoted me anywhere from 4 to 6 grand. They were able to fix her for under $1000. They performed her surgery and within a week she is back to using her leg. She is my princes and She deserves nothing but the best and I believe they are the best. They even cleaned her teeth at no charge when she was under sedation. That in itself is a rather spendy procedure lol. I will recommend this facility any chance i get. Thank you all so much!

Dr. Burton does wonderfully with short nosed breeds. He is knowledgeable, caring, and quite personable. He even charged me half of what my former vet was charging for a C-Section. I have entrusted him with care of 4 of my dogs so far, and I will not hesitate to bring the other 2 in should they need quality vet care. Quality care at an affordable price gives him an A+ in my book!
